How weird I was just playing this again on the 3DS yesterday.

Axel was always my choice but man I forgot how hard this game was. Those jumping twin bitches at the end must have killed me about 12 times.

I went with Blaze due to the extra manoeuvrability, but I admit my favourite out of everyone was Max from SOR2

Jack will forever be the GOAT, though. His Megadrive soundchip laugh, his affinity for knives, the whole Sid Vicious with bad posture complex.

Shiva's an unlockable in the decidedly weird SOR3 so I never really count him as a playable character even though he is. It's too unfair on the others. Shiva is all that.

You can unlock Ash in Bare Knuckle III [SOR3 in Japan. Which is even weirder than SOR3 is].

Here are some of the differences. It's a cool website with loads of info on the games including these really cool charts with all the generic enemies you fight on them. There's a bizarre myriad of Game Gear and Master System ports each with their own subtle intricacies that most people don't even know exist.

Skate was terrible and so was Zan. Max was okay but I'm always going to be annoyed that Adam got replaced.

I've played the Remake, it's actually magnificent.

..I mostly got to be Blade just because no one else wanted to be her so I'll put her down but I liked Axel best....she was agile/quick and quite fierce though...
