View Full Version : Nominations this series

Does anyone agree that BB need to actually stick to the two or more housemates with the most nominations get put up for eviction. It became ridiculous last series when every eviction had half of the house up because they didn't stick to the rule, they obviously did it so the controversial housemates had a better chance of staying but it was just annoying and doesn't stick to the original format of the show. I also missed the head to head evictions.
opinions?
If it was VTE yes but if it's VTS 3 or more people up

I was so angry at the end of CBB, it was as if they were actually trying to get decent housemates out

HoH nominates two, public nominates one and housemates vote off one.
Or
Housemates nominate the third and the public VTS/E.

Or
Housemates nominate the third and the public VTS/E.
The public nominating should never happen because the housemates would vote the inevitable controversial character that was nominated out (Sallie vs Gina vs Dexter was a mess of a twist) :p
I would settle for the rest of the house nominating and the person(s) with the most becoming the 3rd (or more) nominees but personally I'm bored of the UK noms format, it's stale and samey and I really don't find it all that entertaining anymore because the reasons are crap and never funny...I don't get why anyone would miss it
The thing about this theme is that if they're actually genuinely going to take bits from the US format then they better make it worthwhile because if if they take HoH/Veto but ultimately still have the public voting completely rather than partially or preferably not at all I'd rather they just not bother because it's still just a popularity contest rather than a game so there won't be much need for strategies at all

I do agree with the OP though that the ridiculous rules they made up each week were tiresome and actually contributed even more to my boredom of UK noms

There shouldn't be nom discussions or an HoH or anything where certain HMs have power over others/can strategize. Like, you have BBCan for that and the ****ty BBUS so just watch that?

I think it should only be about three up

Not if it's just menial **** like who sleeps in what bedroom and who has to washes the dishes and **** like that. But if I actually have to **** and watch people make lackluster attempts at strategizing like the early weeks where nomination talk was allowed in BB13, no thx. Like I said, we have BBCan and (unfortunately) BBUS for that.
If they do the HOH thing this is how it should go
Task for HoH winner gets power and can't be voted then HM nominate 2 or more housemates they face eviction and then the HoH can nominate one person.
Then them 3 housemates or more face eviction VTS and the public vote
Making the HM vote who goes is even worse than the public voting because UK people and US people are completely different like the US people who go in BB know what they are doing and who to vote of because there format has been there for years
While the UK people who go into BB only know you vote for the people WHO YOU DON'T LIKE these people are normally the good people
If BB14 was HM vote, Gina would of gone first and Sallie most likey next
So Public should always vote.

3 or more housemates with the most votes. Anyone who breaks the rules. Even the first time is automatically put up for eviction.
If Big Brother want to be the "boss" then stop with petty consequences such as "going to jail".

I agree with OP it's silly that good housemates don't skip eviction as shown by Jasmine in CBB (it would have been Jim and Liz otherwise)
