Marcus: My favourite moment ever was when I went into the house as part of the “Ignore the obvious task” and the Jaffa cakes were passed around! It was a thrill to become part of the action in the show and I’ll never forget it.

I loved that task

Marcus: Big Brother is by far the biggest show on TV. And it’s doing very well. I would think that the channel would be very keen to keep it. The rumour that the show is finishing this year is not what I’ve been led to understand.

The ratings picked up after the disaster that was 10. Of course they then nosedived after the move to Channel 5 but have risen again since.

Series that improved the ratings over the previous year:

BB3, BB5, BB7, BB11, BB14.

CH5 could only dream of getting 7 million for a program on their channel.

Just found that the highest rated average series was Big Brother 3 with 5.8 million, the second highest rated average was Big Brother 5 with 5.1. So I was quite far off with saying 8 million was a healthy figure in Channel 4 days.:p

I find it so ****ing weird that like 5-7m people used to watch Big Brother a night, that's insane to me.

Even to think that many people were watching Channel 4 is weird tbh
