'Crazy Stupid Love' will feature Tinie Tempah, and will be released on July 20 through Polydor Records.

It is the lead single from Cole's upcoming fourth studio album, and reunites the singer with songwriter Wayne Wilkins, who wrote 'Fight for This Love'.

The track will debut on UK radio on Monday, June 2. The video will then premiere online on June 9.

"I can't remember being so excited to be releasing new music," Cole said. "After taking some time out I feel brand new and I had such a special time making this record."

She's a singles artist just as Girls Aloud were before she was a solo artist so as long as she produces the goods for her lead single, who honestly cares about the album? I doubt you could put together a good album with the three (!) she's already put out

Marsh.

Yeah, I think they count on her singles more than her albums, hence the attempt to try and up sales for her second single by releasing it in the middle of X Factor after the first one during summer.

Usually her first one does well and then the others drop off.

This'll have no doubt been part of her bargaining with Cowell to come back to X Factor - he gives her a pimp slot on BGT to promote her first single and then the platform to promote her second one on the X Factor live shows; perhaps even a third one at the X Factor final if the schedules match up. Then she'll probably drop that gig like a hot bag of sick unless it does well and she can barter a similar deal for the following year.

The worst lyrics have to be in that one with Will I Am.

"I told her you are the love of my life and
One day you gonna be my wife and
We are gonna have some babies together"

I think we can all agree that Cheryl Cole being the one to have a career out of Girls Aloud is one of life's unexplainable mysteries

Nah but who would have thought anyone but Nadine would have had a shot at a solo career out of them all?

Marsh.
30-05-2014, 07:28 PM
True, I would've guessed Nadine too.

I don't know why she never made more of an effort to up her profile. Probably because she buggered off to LA.

I suppose Cheryl has been in the public eye the most since Girls Aloud and what with Fight For This Love being as big as it was, she had a huge stepping stone

The ginger one lived (not sure if she still does) in Greenhithe which is right by me/where I used to live, at night you could hear the noise of ghosts being chomped on and power pellets being swallowed

Nah of course, the moment she appeared on the X Factor it was obvious she was being primed for a solo career - but from 2002-2008 everyone was speculating that Nadine would leave at any moment and have a solo career and then Cheryl got the jump on her.

Marsh.
30-05-2014, 07:40 PM
I bet she has dartboards with Cheryl's face on in those Irish bars.

Yeah, fair play tbh, she's managed a solid career from it

Wouldn't blame her tbh.

I've really grown to hate the **** eating grins plastered on Cheryl/Kimberley/Nicola's faces when they're the three least talented members of that group yet have had the most success :bored:
