Channel 5 have finalised their schedules for the first week of Big Brother: Power Trip, and a special episode of Big Brother called ‘The Live Surprise will air on Monday 9th June. The Live Surprise will air between 10pm and 10:30pm after the usual highlights show at 9pm. No further details of the special have been confirmed yet, however there is an official description referring The Live Surprise to be Big Brother: Live From the House. Could this mean it will be a half an hour of live streaming, or will they go back to what they usually do with surprise live nominations? The first eviction of the series will be Friday 13th June between 9pm - 10pm, and 10:40pm -11:10pm, with Bit on the Side following at 11:10pm. There is no post-eviction live feed in the schedules.

No live feed after evictions. I don't get why they would spend so much money on a set that is only on screen for 45 mins a day.

I love it<3333

Does that mean we'll hear who the evictee is at the end of the first show but they'll have 30 minutes to say their goodbyes like they used to instead of the 30 seconds they have now?

With the way filming permission is at Elstree, it'll have to be pre-recorded as they have to be off the site by around 10:30, meaning the second show will be pre-recorded. So, the Housemate will be told and given around 5 minutes while they prepare to film the second show.
