Good at assessing people's sexuality, or hopeless?

Was watching a re-run ep from Playing It Straight so thought I'd do this thread.

There are still quite a few on here who I think, hmmm are they gay or straight. Most are easy to work out though.

The whole "gaydar" thing bugs me in the cases where people use nothing but stereotypes to back themselves up. It's not as simple as "gay guy = feminine, straight guy = masculine", yet some people use distinctions as simple as that to base their theories around.

Straight people don't have a gaydar. Mine is brilliant, I know people are gay before they know it themselves tbh.

I don't really care about anyone sexuality unless I know them and have an interest in them as a friend or associate. I would only want to know it then so I know what is relevant to their interests, can't be shipping a friend with someone who doesn't match what they are looking for, I don't understand the whole "gaydar" thing. :shrug:
