Former Big Brother host Davina McCall has suggested she’s no longer a fan of the main show.


Davina fronted the iconic reality telly series for a decade on Channel 4, stepping down when the series moved to Channel 5 in the summer of 2011.

While Davina was always a huge BB nerd, it seems that she’s fallen out of love with the show since the channel switch and no longer watches, although she is still interested in the Celebrity version.

“I will definitely watch the Celebrity one, which I do like,” Davina said when asked if she’ll be watching the new BBUK series.

Speaking about the new Celebrity Big Bro run, Davina had her own dream line up of celebs that we can’t help but feel are a little too big for Channel 5′s budget.

“I want to have Vitoria and David Bekcham, Gordon Ramsay, Joey Essex would be brilliant and Adam Garcia for the ladies – a house like that would be great,” David said.

The Got To Dance host added: “We can always dream, can’t we!”

Meanwhile, Davina said she was happy to see Claudia Winkleman replacing Sir Bruce Forsyth on Strictly Come Dancing this year, calling for more women on primetime telly.

She said: “I never thought they’d let two girls present it. I’m so pleased the BBC has one this brave and wonderful thing – I know they do it already, but I think its fantastic.”

She was a die hard fan. I think you can tell her passion seemed to dwindle around BB9 or 10 but then so did mine so I could never blame her.

Don't blame her, I don't care for the show in its present state and have never made it through a full civilian series on C5, only some celebrity ones. It's a totally different show at its core than it was even in the last days of C4.
