If some of your old classmates decided to organise a school reunion, would you attend?

I could imagine :joker:
Id go. I dont particularly miss many people outside my group of friends but Id be interesting to see what people are up to and how they are doing. Its only been 2 years since the end of sixth form/4 years since the end of secondary school (at the same place) though, and I see many familiar faces out in town at the weekends anyway.

My school organised one last year, I didn't go though, not really my thing.

probably not since I didn't like most people at school, but maybe if my bestfriend attended then I'd go too.

depends where it'd be, but most likely yeah if other friends were going
Ehh, maybe, I dunno, I've stayed in touch with a lot of school friends and manage to see them pretty regularly so I've no real interest in seeing people I didn't bother to keep in touch with but I wouldn't not go either. I don't think I'd attend one now, I left school in 2009, it's not been long enough. Maybe in 2019.

It was attempted last year by a few people I know. Everyone was up for it on facebook, talking about old times, what they'd do when they met up, where in town they'd go etc. It was a massive flop in the end apparently and ended just a night round the village for a few of them LOL
I had no intention of ever going. If I didn't keep in contact with these people from school why would I suddenly want to meet up and get pissed with them

Yeah, I've only just left school but I'd be really curious to see how everybody is a few years down the line.
I'm one of those people who puts others before myself, so I'd be really happy to see everyone but they probably wouldn't feel the same way about me.

Only if I could take a 9mm pistol, a box of ammo and a belt full of frag grenades, it'd be a hoot. Other than that... no.

My brother is actually going to one this month, he left ten years ago. I only left 2 so there would be no point, but at some point in the future yes I would love to

depends on who organised it and who was going
but yeah, I'd love to go... I'd love to prove how much of a better person I am than half of them. There was so many fake/horrible bitches and asshole boys that I'd love to show how much I don't give a **** about them.

I'm still tight and speak to about 6 or 7 from my year anyway and I don't think that bond is ending anytime soon. Not sure if I would go to a full on reunion though. I didn't care for most people if I weren't friends with them

Hmm I chose yes in the poll but now I think about it I'm not so sure, I have most of my old classmates on fb and tbh I would happily walk past the majority of them in the street without saying any more than 'hiya' it's bad enough seing the garbage they write on fb never mind actually having a conversation with them

I'm still best friends with my 2 closest mates from school so I wouldn't really be too bothered. Probably would though.

This is something about FB I will never get my head around, on FB as friends but wouldn't touch them with a barge pole in rl :umm2:

If I had a nice car and job so I could brag.
Wouldn't go otherwise, unpleasant people.

It's not that I 'wouldn't touch them with a barge pole' I would more than likely just say hello to the biggest majority of them and leave it at that iykwim.

I would, I think it'd be nice.

I think it's nosiness with a lot of people, there people I know of from years ago that went to other schools and just people I wouldn't have class as friends or even aquaintances that have tried to add me on there, I just ignore them.
FB Creepers I think.

If other friends were going then yes but I hated pretty much the majority of the people in my year and was glad to never have to see them again.
I get what you mean Josy. It was actually because of lily that, a few years ago now, I started getting serious with my Facebook friends list and culling people from school who I was never going to willingly see again, because what's the point? I'd never really thought about it until then but it was such a good point. I went to school with plenty of nice people who I'd say hi to in the street... but that's all. I wouldn't tell them what I'm getting up to or talk about my personal life with them in any way, so why give them access to that? Facebook is for friends. Not for people who you knew in another life and that's where they stayed. I'm quite stringent with my Facebook friends list - I've had loads of TiBBers on there at one point but had a clear out so I could start from scratch - I'm sure I'd re-add people if they wanted to be FB friends because I speak to some of you guys more than I speak to people I know from elsewhere.
And yeah, at least by not having these people on fb it would make a school reunion seem somewhat appealing. It's not really the same if you know exactly who everyone went on to marry, work for, how much their appearance has changed etc...
Vicky.

I dunno...it would be really awkward I would think. I would have to get totally bladdered

There's no way in hell I would go to one of these things.
The people I actually liked from school I could count on one hand for a start.
As for the Facebook thing.. I've been on and off Facebook for the last few years.. I'm currently back off it... I can't stand the insincerity, the vanity and the tedious status updates. Plus, all the people I wouldn't want to see at a reunion started adding me. There's a reason I didn't keep in touch with them... I don't want to talk to them.
We have one coming up next month, I'm definitely up for it.
It'd be nice for the catch up and trip down memory lane.

Only if people I was still in touch with went. I'd definitely not go "on my own".
