Are you a culprit of this?

I am sometimes. Like when Im telling a story, for example the other day I was telling my flatmate about a piece of coursework I had just submitted. It was about qualitative methods which I dont particularly enjoy but I ended up doing pretty well on it. I get on with my module tutor for it though so she gave me some sound advice. But yeah I submitted this piece of coursework 3 times because it consisted of 5 sections but I accidentally left 1 out then had to edit the format. Its really annoying merging several Word documents into 1 with all different fonts, sizes and spaces. Took me an hour to fix it up. Plus I only have the Starter pack so it likes to freeze every 5 minutes when things get complicated. But yeah whilst I was telling my flatmate about the piece of coursework we ended up debating the meaning of life and the value of pi before I had finished. So I do occasionally go on tangents and tell sub-stories whilst divulging my main story.

I do it often, fortunately so do most other people I talk to. Although my tangent tends to go on a bit longer often adding even more to what I veered off on too.
It has even got to a point where we forgot for a moment what we were originally talking about.

My economics teacher moans at me for doing that every time I hand in any work, usually because I haven't got a clue what the hell I'm supposed to write so when I get even one small idea I expand upon it so much and start talking about irrelevant things that it fills almost a whole page. I always go on such a tangent but it's better than writing nothing I guess.
