Emma hopes that Big Brother will be around for years to come yet.
Big Brother host Emma Willis insists that she has no intention of leaving the reality TV show, and would stay with the programme as long as it lasts if she could.
The TV presenter has been much in demand since taking over from Holly Willoughby on The Voice this year, but says that she has no intention of walking away from Big Brother.
And with the show now in its fifteenth year, Emma told a tabloid newspaper that she hopes the original reality programme continues for some time yet.
The Daily Star Sunday quoted her as saying: “I hope it lasts. I want to be involved for as long as it’s around.”
Explaining Big Brother's long-running appeal, she added: “It’s that inner-nosey neighbour that we all have that makes it a success. It’s seeing how people react to certain situations.
“We all like to people watch. That’s why it’s lasted so long.”
Ahead of Big Brother's return this week, the TV presenter also admitted to having her own “good luck” ritual to help her through the stress of the main shows - in the shape of a glass of vodka and Red Bull.
“I don’t know why I do it,” Emma told the newspaper.
“But I did it once and then thought I had to do it every time because it was my good luck thing. I worry that if I don’t do it, it’ll go wrong.”
