Don't post images in polls, it messes up the main page of the forum and theres no need for images in them anyway.

Is it even possible to be more devoid of a personality and be a worse Big Brother housemate than Sam? Surely not?

He has to be the lowest of the low for any reality TV show winner ever

Sam was a terrible winner that only won purely because of his disability. He's the worst winner ever and I doubt whoever wins it this year could possibly be worse.

Hopefully they'll be more entertaining. If they're not than something is wrong with the public.

How is there any way of knowing?

Hopefully the winner this year contributes more than Sam did.

I don't think you could be 'more' boring than Sam, he's the worst reality show winner to date. His defining moment was winning the show, he didn't do anything else, least the other 'boring' winners that get **** actually have at least 2 moments that make them stand out.

The public will likely play it safe again though, especially if it's vote to evict once more.

Sam didn't win because of his disability.

He won for being the most inoffensive. Everyone else did things to cause people to love them or hate them. He was the neutral one who robs the title through not doing anything to cause anyone to hate him.

Same as Anthony, Pete, Brian Belo, Rachel Rice, Sophie etc etc.

impossible to be more boring than sam.

The question is what gimmick disability housemate will win this time.
i really hope there is none this time. if you can pick the winner first night every year it gets boring

Vicky.

Sam was boring, but at least he had a few moments, even if he was just riding on others coattails for those moments

We will no doubt get a boring, dull, inoffensive winner this year.

I voted entertaining to be optimistic.

But in reality they wil probably be really dull. (Luke A, Sam)

Literally easier to get a nun to have a one night stand than to find someone more boring than Sam.

Vicky.

The problem is, usually we end up with a boring inoffensive housemate, and an entertaining yet controversial one as the final two. And the anti vote tends to be strong...so those who dislike the entertaining one will vote for the other whoever it is.

The only time this hasnt happened was bb12 I think..when we had Jay and Aaron. Neither were boring and inoffensive. Despite disliking Jay a lot, it was my fave ever F2 and I hoped at that time that the days of boring winners was behind us.

Jay and Aaron was my best ever top 2 also. they carried that series really

Strictly Jake
01-06-2014, 08:53 PM
I think Sam may also have clinched the win because he was in a top 3 with dexter and Gina who really didn't need the money where as Sam would benefit from it more. If no fund was involved I honestly think Gina may have had a better chance

Turtle

A disabled welsh person will always make it to the final.

If they are filling the house with scheming media *****s then the nice quiet housemate is bound to win just to stop any of the others doing so.

I have a feeling we'll get an alright winner this year. A Joise Gibson

Black Dagger
01-06-2014, 10:16 PM
Then that won't be an 'alright' winner then, considering she's easily a bottom 5 candidate.

joeysteele
01-06-2014, 10:54 PM
Sorry but for me the most boring winner was Josie Gibson, all we got as to her for in the main the last half of her series, was a white duvet over her and John James.
The worst winner possible in the end that series Josie was.
Jus as Anthony Hutton was in his too.

Sam had his moments and I found him far from boring to be fair.

Sam was boring but he didn't offend me in any way so that makes him better than like... Cameron and Pete and Aaron for sure, if not a few others.

Vicky.
01-06-2014, 11:05 PM
How did Cameron (and Pete to a lesser extent, I know he had his willy waggling moments) offend you?

She was actually quite involved in the house dynamics though. the romance was annoying but at least she was a presence in the house unlike Sam. Sam did nothing.

Cameron was awful. He policed fun and targeted anyone remotely interesting for the worst reasons. Like, Anouska got drunk and Tania couldn't handle her drink and Lisa was an intimidating older woman (Lisa was 35; Cameron was 32 :conf:) get off your high horse. Also he used his religion to mask his bitchiness and it was really gross. Just off the top of my head I remember him saying that he wanted to put his thumb on top of Lisa's windpipe, said that he'd only go for Tania for her looks and avoid her personality like the plague, smugly told Lisa that she only lasted longer than Anouska because she was immune in her first week (when he was immune for TWO WEEKS why was that second week necessary), and said that he would punch Jon if he tried to give him advice about being evicted. And I didn't watch live but I recall hearing that on the live feed she said that he wanted to punch all of Jon's teeth out and piss in his shampoo and have Federico take a **** in his shoes. He would say all of those but then try to go to the DR and act like a good Christian lad by quoting the Bible as to why gay marriage is wrong (that should be enough to answer your question), read Psalm 37 upon being nominated, and entice the public with some ~secret~ he wouldn't reveal unless he survived eviction.

As for Pete, I would never classify a disability or a gender change or anything as a gimmick like some people do on here, but like, Tourette's doesn't make you fall down the stairs or in the pool. And it doesn't make you extremely animated and wacky and zany in the DR but lifeless and inert outside of it. No, not at all.

Vicky.
01-06-2014, 11:16 PM
I dont remember any of that :o

God he sounds horrendous when you put it like that..I always remembered him as being the quiet religious one who got lucky by being sent to africa (hence his win)

Macie Lightfoot
01-06-2014, 11:20 PM
I mean admittedly it's easy to forget a lot of the specifics of BB4 and Cameron did a pretty good job of using his religion as a shield but he was actually pretty offensive if you paid attention to him (it's sooooo easy to just drown him out as white noise though and probably better for your sanity.)

It's almost as if the people who vote don't actually watch the show.

It's seems people get so caught up in hating a HM because they are controversial they go on to shoot themselves in the foot by voting them off and get left with the bores. Doubt this year will be any different as the voting public never seem to learn.

I liked Sam,I didn't think he was boring, more overcome by the gobbier characters,I'm sure he had more to offer,he just didn't really get that chance as it was all about Callum,Dexter and Charley faux romance.

I tend to judge HMs as if they were people on the outside, would I like them?

Sam I would, some of the other nightmares that year no way.. He spoke up when he needed to that's enough for me, the winner doesn't have to be whoever shouts the loudest or for the longest time.
