End of an era after selling my first car yesterday. Had some good times with that little whip!

On the plus side, picking up my brand new fiesta st-3 in Molten Orange next week. The futures orange...

(That's the car I test drove, not the actual one I'm having, but it's pretty darn close the the one I'm having)
Anyway.. to the point, feeling a little strange after selling it. Feel like I'm hitting 20, selling my first car - its kind of like I'm being forced to grow up now and I don't like it! Anyone else felt like that after selling their first car?

I get where you're coming from Sawyer. I was devastated when I traded my first car in....but it's a great feeling when you get a brand new one too...
Don't worry too much about growing up till you get a mortgage....I was so excited about getting my first mortgage until I woke up and thought "dear god I'm now thousands I. Debt". That's when you feel it
Happy motoring in your new car

Haha I see your point. Responsibility is something you want until you have it. I'm sure I have a few more years of partying in me yet!!
And thanks, its a little pocket rocket.
...your new car is lovely Sawyer.....I felt the same when I had to sell my first car because it was too expensive to keep it and needed work etc..I think first cars are really special because they represent a big change in your life and an independence that you never had before so you do get quite attached to them but once you start driving your new car, that won't last and you'll really appreciate that one...safe driving Sawyer...

Thanks Ammi - yeah, me and that little 03 plate fiesta had some good times, bad times and everything in between. Such an experience.

I know, it just feels like I'm hitting 20 and leaving teens behind. Scary thought.

Have you ever crashed?
i havent even got a first car yet :(
omg im gonna rant, sorry to make this thread all about me but y'know, my driving teacher has been telling me for ages that I can book my practical test within a weeks notice so not to hurry onto the directgov website, and then during my last lesson she was like "I know you want to do your test but the earliest dates available are August" I was so mad.. so now if I fail (which I probably will) then im gonna have to wait until like November before I can retake it..

..aww Saph that's really annoying but you may not fail, don't think that you will and I know it seems like a long time until August but it isn't that long and it means you can have a month of chilling and not thinking about it and getting nervous or anything ..I know it's not what you wanted and I understand why you're annoyed but at your test is all booked now so just enjoy this time and getting more practise in and ready for it and you could pass first time and then it will have all been perfect...
