3 and 16 are the worst by far
I'm the clumsy one tbh.
Now where is the list about the most annoying cashiers :idc:
I might get a part time Job in retail next year, what's it like
It's all true. It's all awful
its awful and harder than it looks but the people you work with are usually nice (well mine are)

Have to disagree with number 2. As a customer, I ask/get family members to ask and sometimes they have items in the back not out on shelves. Also sealed copies of items in the back instead of grotty unsealed on the store shelves. :idc:
I could get one this year but I have decide not to since I have got lots of Coursework for college and it will make me even more stressed, i'm going to wait till next Summer
when school finishes obvs
why not this summer?
Too much work in college to complete

King Gizzard

and yeah, people who ask as soon as they get into the store instead of y'know, looking at the signs everywhere
You pay my wages but don't be an idiot

I worked in Tesco and then in a pub/restaurant.
I hate people
I work at tescos, did you ever have those customers that forgot to give you their clubcard and then blamed you for not asking them? I hate them.. and the green points customers

I work at tescos, did you ever have those customers that forgot to give you their clubcard and then blamed you for not asking them? I hate them.. and the green points customers
I used to ask every single customer for their clubcard and then they'd respond with a no and then I'd finish off the transaction and then they'd say OH I FOUND IT.
**** off to Customer Services you dumb twat.. you have two things to do.. pack and pay..
I used to hate how some people weren't ready to pay.. I mean why did you come to the till if you don't expect to pay?
people who buy condoms and lube should just use the self service (giggity) tills

People who want a whole box/crate of something so they ask you to go get it, then want you to follow them around with it until they've finished getting all their other stuff so you can take it to the till
Ok that might just be me
lol condoms were 3 for 2 last week and it was so awkward because I was on the basket till (where all the old people who have baskets but cant use the self checkouts go)

the ones who come in just before you close are always worst. we all used to wait upstairs watching them and cursing them, as no one can leave till the last customer went.
i used to work in argos for a bit that was funny. id serve on the till people were so nice then id go of to help on the colelction point and the same nice people i served before were suddenly tossers lol
I had a few people come to the till with big packs of things which hadn't been unpacked when they were put on the shelves. So they bought them thinking it was a multi-pack with a good deal but then you have to explain that it's individual and that they are retarded.

Like literally tell them they are retarded

lmao I had this woman the other week who picked up a display model baking thing and I kept having to try explain to her that I couldn't sell it and she was like "WELL WHY IS IT ON THE SHELF IF ITS NOT FOR SALE?"

and then when I told her we were out of stock she kept going on about how they had them at another Tesco store and I'm just thinking well why didnt you buy one from there..

Coincidentally elderly people are my favourite customers even if they can be annoying
They are just so grateful for everything you do/generally the most understanding that it's a tough job
I hate old people the most. Slow and stupid
:joker:
posh 30/40 year olds are the worst imo, they think they're so above packing their own shopping.. I never offer anyway so they have to
King Gizzard
02-06-2014, 03:31 PM
Snobby people who seem to think you've got some sort of catchable disease if they even approach you are the worst

Two summers ago my cousin needed help in his convenience store, I was at the till/counter on my own and because I don't know the names of the different cigarette packet varieties I'd have to ask the customer to point and guide me with their hand  it was so embarassing, the customers would occasionally get pissed off

^^
retail is the worst though. I worked in retail part time for 6 months when I left school, it had it's good times but it was way too annoying and for some reason the staff were bitchy :S . There was this ginger girl I worked with and she kept telling me that she wanted to self harm herself :mooriah:

I do this sometimes...if its such a pain then I suggest doing the reductions an hour before closing instead of 10 mins before :hmph:
Edit. Just realised this only applied to tescos and such...

I love clocking rude customers, I had some woman moaning at me last week because she missed the last home delivery and she was like YOU SHOULD LET CUSTOMERS KNOW WHEN THEY ENTER IF THEY CAN GET A DELIVERY so I politely informed her we do it's right up on that big board infront of the entrance http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/3b9ed532.gif
