Della Woods, left, and Hayley Sulley arrive at Liverpool crown court.
Evil Women
[Two women have been jailed for 12 months each
after a pensioner was mauled to death by their dog.
The retired hospital porter Clifford Clarke, 79,
was mauled in his garden in Liverpool
after he opened his back door while
cooking a meal.
The Presa Canario cross-breed dog
had earlier escaped from the garden
of his next-door neighbour in
Richard Kelly Close in the Norris Green
area of the city.
Last month, Hayley Sulley, 30,
of Richard Kelly Close, and Della Woods, 29,
of Swallowhurst Crescent, Norris Green,
pleaded guilty to an offence under
the Dangerous Dogs Act of allowing
a dog to enter a place where it was
not allowed to be and where it injured a person.]

Looks quite powerful. Definitely deadly with the wrong owners.

Wrong dog, wrong owners, neglect. jail is where they belong.
No one should have a dog of this nature in a city. This is a similar type of dog. It needs experienced male owner.

Out on walks a woman would not be able to restrain a large dog of that nature, well most women. Its a question of strength

AND
you generally find it is weedy men who have the biggest dogs. :hmph:

same applies, it would make no sense to weigh less than your dog. It could pull you onto a car if it saw a rabbit.

Most men wouldn't be able to restrain a dog that size if he decided to go mental though anyway, lets be honest

My old devil dog was a handful if he saw a pheasant. Several times he nearly pulled my arm out of its socket when he was on the lead. He hated pheasants.
Looked like this but a boy :bawling::

Just read the news report on the opening link. why the hell would anyone want to keep a dog that size, the cost in food and the amount of exercise would be excessive.
For two women to want to keep a dog like that is hard to understand.

Unfortunately, big dogs like that seem to be some sort of a statement of how hard they are to alot of people who own those types of dogs

Where they belong!
Bad owners make bad dogs. Plus I know from being a lover of dogs that this breed is not for someone who "just wants a dog".
A friend of mine has one and he's very gentle and calm natured however he's not the most "sociable" dog, he doesn't come wagging at people or want to play he's just a natural guard dog, keeps a lookout all times and inspects situations. Not aggressive at all just very mellow but judging by his size if he ever felt threatened I'd hate to be whatever he's going after.
