Helen Wood was crowned the winner of Big Brother on 15th August 2014, being part of the first female Top 2 in Big Brother history and also being the first female winner in 4 years, as well as the first female winner in a series of Big Brother produced by Channel 5. She was granted a pass to the final on Day 2 by current power housemate Pauline Bennett. Helen spent 72 days in the Big Brother house, and spent the longest time in the house out of all of her other housemates. Helen also spent 14 days in Big Brother 16 (UK) - in total spending 86 days in the house, the longest time for any Channel 5 housemate.

Jale thankfully isn't alone and IMO she seems strong enough to deal with it and may hopefully even pipe up soon as she promised she would.

I thought criticising fans of housemates wasn't allowed on here, it someone dares to insinuate I condone bullying I'm really not going to be happy. That's a very strong and unfounded accusation to make on an Internet forum

I never like to judge on HMs' past or present lives outside the house, nor on their VTs which serve one end only - to get selected.

Helen must have been surrounded by rathy lousy people in her life so far. She will not be used to being surrounded by so many well-intentioned if misguided housemates. With "Poline"'s influence now removed, Helen has every chance to go on a self-discovery trip over the next few weeks and to mellow and show some kindness. She has already started.

Helen had been warned by Big Brother over bullying after more than 1,500 complained about her actions towards fellow housemate Jale Karaturp.

In one rant, Helen had branded Jale a “********* slug” and spat: “She’s an attention seeking b*****d, not real, she hasn’t got a real ******ing bone in her body. No ones going to look at her in that light, ever.”

In the Diary Room, Big Brother told her: “Big Brother thinks your behaviour is unacceptable and Big Brother does not tolerate unacceptable behaviour.

“If this type of behaviour occurs again then big brother may have to issue you with a formal warning or take further serious action.”



Despite the warning, Helen’s behaviour in the house hasn’t exactly changed, being seen hiding wine from Jale at the weekend and continuing to bitch about her.

And she’s also gone on to target pal Kimberly Kisselovich and even Ashleigh Coyle, for things she might perhaps do in the future.

“My thoughts are she’ll use her age as an advantage and get really cocky at one point,” Helen predicted, before going on to plan how she’ll handle arguments with the 18-year-old.

Last week saw BBUK host Emma Willis call for bosses to remove Helen’s pass if she didn’t change.

Emma suggested: “Big Brother should take that pass to the final away from her. She’s getting more and more uncomfortable to watch. Helen has crossed the line.”

I think the main difference is that Helen speaks her mind when she's had a glass of wine or three and says what she thinks directly to the person. She may need some dutch courage, which, to me, shows that she is not really that mean, otherwise she would do it sober.

As for the others they sit there and bitch about everyone behind their backs.
Danielle and Ashleigh are getting on my nerves moaning all the time and they constantly call Helen names behind her back. Even Matthew does it too.
