What did you make of the first HL show?

Editing right at the start reminded me of one of those reality holiday shows like The Magaluf Weekender, Apart from that it was alright.

I thought the first half of the episode was awful with Steven, Winston, and Danielle, but I liked the second half more when Pauline turned it into BB and stirred up some ****.

first half was terrible boring. and just shows how bad that lot are. 2nd half was better but not a patch on last years characters. and drama. does anyone remember we were on full take of day 1 n it never let up

Bitching seems to be the main thing for this years lot. It will most likely be a week until arguments kick in. No doubt Big Brother will replay some convos to them next week, get the pot stirring...

I liked it, although I did get a little bit annoyed with the Scottish one (is it Danielle?). I wondered out loud if she had ever seen any previous seasons of Big Brother, as she seemed genuinely shocked and upset about people discussing sex and swearing. I kind of wanted to tell her that she was hardly likely to hear edgy banter and discussions of politics and philosophy on the opening night of Big Brother.... but I felt that she should have known that anyway.

Oh, and I liked the girl who was given the pass to the final until the second half of the show where her reaction to riddles-guy was a little harsh for me. And her friend, the blonde one seems to be not the sharpest tool in the box although time could prove me wrong about that.

Anyway, I enjoyed it! Looking forward to seeing more.:blush:

Quite liked the episode, thought the editing was a lot better, but after watching I'm really not liking Helen, the way her & Tamara spoke about Chris was really nasty.

It obviously wasn't as eventful as last series, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Where last series had alot of the good drama at the beginning, I feel like this series will just get progressively better and more interesting. I sense a very interesting dynamic already.

I thought it was a good start, they are all really likeable people. I actually don't want any of them to leave ;( I'm looking forward to seeing how they are all going to get on, this point last year I wasn't keen on a single one of the housemates, so things are going good imo!

The first half was the usual stupid sex talk for the young teens who CH5 cater for.

The rest was better with the more individual/'misfit' HMs coming to the fore. I have always liked those kind of HMs over the tedious bland alpha males who are there supposedly for their looks. They tend to be more interesting characters and also more intelligent.
