View Full Version : Pauline 'Remember I do things for a reason'
When Pauline went into the Power Pad with Helen, Mark and Danielle she said to them all 'remember I do things for a reason'
Opinions on what she meant by that?

Well I suppose she might have a few reasons for being a bit of a twat
It means that she hasn't got a clue what she's talking about and simply likes to pick her favourites. Pauline isn't some mastermind genius, as seen by the fact that she totally missed the point of Chris' VT.

I thought she might be sizing up Daniele for killer nom. Same with the four lads she picked she wants to see who could be her killer nom

Attempting to sound intimidating so as to not get nominated in the future.

She's overthinking and overestimating her own importance.
Any one familiar with Big Brother knows how quickly the tables can turn so you'd expect her to be a bit more open minded and inclusive of people outside of her group but she's got a bit of an arrogance now. It won't help her when the power passes to someone else.
But if it's given to Mark. Shoot me.

Everyone does everything for a reason. Brainless thing for her to have said.

I think she was trying to make her decision look unbiased and smart but I believe it was truly just a case of taking in her favourites.
Danielle had been complaining about not having her suitcase, and at that moment Helen, Mark and Danielle had not realized that they'd get their suitcase along with the Power Lunch so Pauline said 'Remember I do things for a reason.' just before they spotted the suitcases.

She said it once they had seen screamed, saw the suitcases and ate half the lunch IIRC.

I think she was trying to intimate she knows more than she actually does.....

She is trying to hint to them that they are now her allies and she has picked them because she expects them to have her back.

I know it's nigh-on impossible, but I'd love it if she were the first to go.

I think she was more intending it to sound like an intelligent reason though. the obvious reason would be because they are the people she likes the most but she is trying to come across as if she knows more than she does and is being wise in her decision making.

I agree with Chuff. It was a thinly veiled attempt at intimidation.

I missed that bit but I think she was just trying to be dramatic and show off a bit; I think she'll turn out to be a right diva in weeks to come-she doesn't seem to have much of a sense of humour.

Precisely, Chris was just being funny but she didn't know that cos she's got no sense of humour.
