Toya is reminding me of early Shievonne

She really gives me vibes of Shievonne from the earlier weeks, before she got all moody. I mean, I liked Shievonne even when she got more angry because we all have downer moments (her eviction still angers me!), but I definitely preferred her earlier, more upbeat attitude and wish she didn't get too bogged down by the drama.

Toya happens to remind me of Shievonne personality-wise, with her way or speaking, the little sayings she comes out with, her general quirky attitude. Much more than just their skin colour.

Oh, and white housemates being compared without extensive reasoning much longer than mine happens all the time. There was an entire "housemate comparisons" thread last week, where there were no reasons given for most of them. :)

I actually explained further than that in one of my later posts, and I could go further but I don't feel the need to expand further to someone who's just looking for trouble. I absolutely love how you completely gloss over certain parts of my responses. Nothing to say about the countless times white housemates are likened without tons and tons of expansion?

And I've already expanded beyond sex and skin colour. It might have been quite a general overview, but that's because it's early days. The witty lines she comes out with combined with the bubbly, quirky yet seemingly-strong minded attitude reminds me of Shievonne. I find them both humorous in similar ways. I'm sure I'd find more comparisons with other housemates with similar traits, but Sheivonne is more fresh in my mind. I've explained no less than, as I've said,most of the white housemate comparisons. You've only taken offence because they're black. You're the one making race an issue.

Like I said (which you seem to have glossed over, ironically enough), your point about white comparisons is a dumb one, and I can't comment on a the white housemate comparison thread you brought up because I haven't seen it myself and can't find it. I found a housemate LOOKALIKE thread from 5 June, however. If that's what you were getting at, lol.

But even in the quite early days they're not that much alike. Shievonne in her early weeks was a mama bear and Toya's been a fierce feminist with metaphors about weaves and such. I don't think Shievonne even had any notable lines until she went insane. Again, I only found a comparison thread on HM lookalikes, and those don't need explanations since it's about looks.

and if you actually think "well, I didn't compare Toya to any other black HMs so I wasn't being racist!" is a valid excuse, you really need to reevaluate yourself. Racism isn't all or none.
