Undecided. I'm not sure.
I was hooked from the start with BB14 from what I remember but I'm struggling with this one.
Honestly, currently not yet. I feel no affinity or strong dislike or anything towards any of the housemates. I've honestly found all the shows (included both launches) to be incredibly bland and it seems like a group of people with pretty faces but very bland personalities. Still willing to give this series a try, but in comparisson to BB14 when I had firm favorites from Day 1, I'm yet to be impressed by this year's lot. I almost fell asleep in tonight's episode.
Yes! Loving this series so far tbh

They all seem a bit too alike personality wise, that might be the new tack and it seems to be working there's conflict already but I don't know... early days yet though.

Very. They seem really promising so far and maybe I'm preempting things but there doesn't seem to be too many duds...
The second bunch made it a well rounded cast, it was a bit samey before that.

I find almost every single one of them interesting and I feel no real major dislike to any of them so it's all positive right now. During C5 BB I have only had 1 or 2 housemates that ive really liked so I was pretty worried I'd be disappointed and only really wanted 1 great housemate to support but so far there are about 5 or 6 I really like. Very happy with them.

The moment I saw Hazel last year I literally LOVED her as a housemate from day 1, same with Sallie and Gina first week of bb14 was amazing. This year I do not love anyone as of yet just slightly like some. I do think having Jasmine getting drunk on the first night of CBB and the 'beanie snatch' for BB14 on the 2nd night that we are used to quick drama so I am hoping for some slow burners like Hazel to some extent and Charlie was last year.

yes, there appears to be few bores and a really entertaining cast!

The downside of a more sophisticated cast is that they're going to be more media savvy, and will be more careful to manage their public image. It's a trade-off, but I like them so far.
Part of me would like to see another load of degenerates like the Fight Night crew put in, but that probably won't ever happen again.

Would still like a little more diversity... more than half of the house are young, attractive white folk... but I think there's potential.

Yes 100%. The house is filled with a lot of outspoken and opinionated individuals this year and I love that. Many of them seem to have big personalities and they all seem interesting in their own way. I could see people clashing and butting heads but I think there will be loads of laughs as well. I really do believe this will be a fun season.

I'm undecided so far - I think there is possible potential there but it needs to come out a bit for me to decide.

Yeah, the whole 'cusp of fame' thing doesn't bother me.
Karen from Greggs might have been a right boring bint :idc:

Yes, seems like it's a better bunch of hms than BB14. The only potential bore is Ashleigh imo.

I'm not doing cartwheels over any of them yet, and Mark, Pauline and Helen in particular are starting to rub me up the wrong way. We'll see how it develops over time I suppose.

I think they are the most interesting bunch C5 have had to date!
I honestly think they are all very different people/personalities although I do understand why some are saying they are too similar but I think you have to look past the VT's (they are never reliable for judging a hm IMO) to the way they have been in the house in only a few days to see how different they all are.
I think we have a good bunch of interesting people, some difficult to work out, some drama queens, some very opinionated and some that are going to sail to the final without doing much of anything.
I am happy with them.

They seem fairly generic. Picked to fit pre-existing BB roles.

no
its like walking down the street passing all the good pubs with music blaring and people having a laugh and going into the quiet wine bar instead. where a few slappers are sipping cocktails and hoping to pull a rich dude. and the twat guys flash their cash and brag about how many girls money they got.
and then looking in the corner to see 3 people jale. danielle chris looking like they have stumbled into the wrong place and are trapped.
then finding out the barmaid is pauline who thinks she runs the place and treats everybody with contempt lol

I hope they dont start showing dairy room rants again as we wont get any if BB start this and noms as well. leave them private for the hate to build

Yes.
Loving the fact that my favourite on launch night is now at the bottom of my list.
It takes a few days for them to settle in and for us to have a rethink.
Yes there's an interesting mix of characters in there, they mostly seem to be pretty switched on as well, no real morons or bimbos in there (maybe with the exception of Winston and Tamara)
At the start of most previous shows (inc this one)I find myself thinking why her and what's he doing here etc,but frequently my views turn more positive as the show progresses.
I am not really a BB expert but I am wondering just how deeply the producers delve RE which housemates will interact in positive or negative ways with each other in order to create good TV.?
It would be interesting to know the thinking behind individual and overall choices.?

I agree with this, I always love diary room rants but they should be kept private and they'll be so much better this way. if they think the other housemates could be shown, they may be more inclined to hold back their full true feelings.
