I went to draw out money at a cash point in a convenience store earlier today because I was buying a few things for my sister, as I left the store and walked halfway down the main road I realised that I left my money in the cashpoint :o I literally ran faster than usain bolt back to the store and luckily it was still there. This has never happened to me before, one of the reasons could be that I have a lot on my mind right now or that the cashpoint was quite different and takes a while to dispense the money after returning the card. Idrk, i'm just shocked as I would never picture myself doing this

I left a fiver in the dispenser at the self serve in Asda once. I didn't realise until I got home because the dispenser is hidden underneath the counter so I just grabbed my receipt and left.

A year ago I took a tenner from the ATM and it literally vanished straight out my hand, I still have no idea what happened to it. I've always been cautious

I've never done it thankfully. Be careful of a scam though where someone will call out to you pretending they know you and when you turn around someone snatches the money out the machine. This may seem something you might not fall for but they're very practised at it and it's their intention to suddenly get you off guard. Only takes a second.
