I understand if they call her 'Jay-le' instead of 'Jar-lay' but to go OTT with it is a sign of ignorance imo

Definitely.

It's not as though they've seen it written down and don't know how to pronounce it, they just need to ask her.

She introduced herself as Jale so yes they would have known from that

I assume they're trying to make themselves look like they don't even care about her.

I couldn't remember how to spell/pronounce it on the first day, there's a lot going on during the first few days so I don't see it as a massive deal .

Its part of marks plan to try become the Male, exaggerated-scouse accented version of Jade Goody. His pretending to be dumb is so irritating

I know, he clearly knew how to say Makosi's name but chose to pretend he didn't in the diary room.

Maxwell was a complete knob with Makosi's name but I did laugh when he nominated Makazee. :hehe:

It's to iconic for them to even say it

1. Ignorance
2. Thick
3. A bit of both

That's my opinion on it anyway.

I agree it's ignorance, they are living in the house with the girl the least they can do is attempt to pronounce it properly or even know it at all.

Marks doing it on purpose

Anyone else glad his washing up attention seek didn't get aired?

They can. Or they at the very least know round about what it is.

Just 'forgetting' on purpose IMO.
