Yeah, it was the fancy packaging that was attracting people. It's the same reason drugs sell so well... the pretty packets.

March over to a shop called poundland,you can get for £1 obviously, a really nice case with a choice of colours or pattern to put the plain packet of cigarettes in.

What a pathetic waste of time changing the packaging is.

I don't see why it would do any harm. It's just a part of cutting back on promotion/advertising of them. Only a good thing.

Of course it's not going to stop people smoking but it won't contribute to promoting them either.

It will probably pass....glad im off them now...

Had a hiccup for a month but out of the past 4 months im off them 3.

I'd still class myself as a social smoker...if im on a night out 2-4 cigs seem perfectly acceptable to me.

The B+H packages are actually quite cool. I'd don't smoke them any more but I'm sure they'd be missed if it happened over here. Not that it would deter anyone though.
