OK ........ what's so difficult to understand here. :shrug:

Maximum width for banners is 550 pixels.

You can have one banner with a maximum size of 550 x 300 pixels.

Or two banners - which combined are a maximum size of 550 x 300 pixels.

Plus a few lines of text if you want. (maximum 5 lines) :thumbs:

If your signature doesn't comply with the above, then please amend it so that it does.

The Forum's going to be really busy shortly when BB8 starts, and the last thing everyone wants is for the pages to be filled up with signatures ......... please sort them out now, or we'll do it for you.

So you all know the effect of large banners here is what different size browsers see when viewing the site.

1280x1024

The size we have selected make viewing the banner and the post possible at a screen size of 1024x786. If you banner is too large it simply gets lost and is not worth having in you signature. The same can be said of text.

Remember your screen might be 1280x1024 but not everyone else's is the same size.

Or... one banner and ten lines of text.

Or... no banner and 15 lines of text.

Or... one 550x300 banner and five lines of text.

Signatures and banners out side these size limits will be removed.

Small sigs are boring. But the sizes of my sigs are in rules and fine anyway.

It annoys me a lot when sigs are too big tbh. Some peoples take up the full width of my screen. :laugh: It's highly unnecessary, fair enough if people don't know how to resize an image but loads of people would be happy to resize something including me.

I find big signatures highly obnoxious. It's just a big thumbs up from the user, thinking HI GUISE, LOOK, SO MUCH SPACE IS LOST, LOLS FOR ME.

Noone gives a sodding toss who your BB favourites are, let alone through a picture-based medium.

The banners should be disabled for everyone on here, it must be using up a ridiculous amount of bandwith and is probably one of the reasons that the site regularly crashes
