I don't remember why they were evicted. The series was four years ago.
We are discussing confrontational and aggressive housemates. What I do remember is that Rachel, Ife and Jo were not labelled those things and were not evicted for being bitches. We're talking about people who are labelled bitchy and aggressive not listing reasons as to why every black housemate on Big Brother was evicted.
Tamara is called out all over this forum for being bitchy, trying to start a showmance and Sophie was wallpaper for most of BB14 before the final few weeks when she was hated for sh*t stirring between Gina, Hazel and Charlie.

Then I don't think you're at much liberty to discuss patterns of the voting public?
And no, we are discussing black girls and the casual racism of the voting public. You said that most of the black girls were confrontational land aggressive and I pointed out that a bunch weren't. You clearly ran out of anything substantial to say (surprise) and are trying to change the topic to confrontational and aggressive HMs but the real subject at hand is black girls.
Tamara's being called out for having the least potential out of the nominees and is getting some flak for being Helen's friend, that's it. And your revisionist history on Sophie is quite compelling fan fiction, I must say.

We WERE discussing why most black women on BB are labelled aggressive, NOT why each and every one of them were evicted.
You're now trying to say people like Melanie from BB1 was labelled aggressive and hated because she was black? Or was it because Mel was a mega-flirt and didn't endear herself to the public? I don't recall her being called aggressive.
Someone who's viewed inoffensive doesn't get destroyed in a vote to evict. Ife had 56.5% against two others, Rachel had 58.5% against two others (the vile John James and Dave at that), and Jo had 39.4% against three others. Rachel and Jo were against all white men too.
I didn't take the thread off topic at all. It's about black women and someone made the point that some people are quick to not like them. And now we're having this discussion.
Yes, Melanie was a mega flirt because she kissed two guys and was single. Meanwhile, Claire had a boyfriend of nine years and the public was pushing for her and Craig to become a thing.
Also, there is no revisionist history on Sophie.
This forum didn't like her at all in her sh*t stirring final 2 weeks and she was evicted instead of Gina of all people.
Maybe YOU didn't like Sophie because she "**** stirred," the forum couldn't give enough of a **** about her. It's complete revisionist history on your part.

1) Our original point was about why black housemates are labelled aggressive. The housemates you brought into discussion were not aggressive and were never labelled as such.
2) If you want to discuss why they were evicted then that's an entire separate discussion and probably requires rewatching a series. Simply saying "a black girl lost against 3 white people in a vote to evict therefore the British public are exerting casual racism" is simply not enough.
3) Were Claire and Mel treated differently? I'm afraid you're going to have to present something more substantial if you wish to use this as an example of racism. My memory is telling me Claire wasn't very popular either, was evicted before Mel.
Her eviction doesn't say much, she survived eviction against 3 other white housemates and then lost when she faced 2 of the most popular in the series - Darren and Craig. Craig going onto win it.

:joker: And how many episode discussions were you here for last year?
I know what discussions I took part in on this very forum. Please don't accuse me of making things up.

-Sylvia in VT: I'm a refugee from Sierra Leone who's been through a lot but I don't let it get me down
Audience: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
-Hira: I'm from Pakistan and have only been here for a year but life is so much better here and I can do so much more and I'm so grateful :tears: ^_^
Audience: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
-Shilpa STILL getting 18% of the vote to evict against Jade after an international racism affair LIKE WTF

Closing this as its gone quite offtopic and is now just pretty much identical to the loads of other 'the public are racist' threads
