I don't know I think it could actually be the opposite, I think sometimes people automatically think good looking HMs will have arrogant or boring personalities so they may have more to prove (or disprove) from the get go

I'm with you on that. I really don't see what she did to warrant that. I think maybe the overlooking of housemates negative points probably only applies if the housemate is male. The 'fit' females get hate no matter what.

Probably get shot down for this too but I have noticed Male housemates that are classed by some as nice looking seem to get quite a bit of hate too from the minute their vt is shown and normally for no apparent reasons, that's just my opinion from some posts and stuff I have noticed on launch nights..

I don't care if people are good looking or deemed 'ugly' for me it's all about personality,take Ash for example,nice looking guy but just seems so dull and full of himself,and then there is Chris,not deemed fit but seems a nice genuine guy,also Aaron was nice looking and was imo a genuine nice guy too.so for me personality counts for a lot,Kimberly is also good looking and unlike others like her , seems also to be a nice genuine girl.

A bitchy unconventional looking girl versus a bitchy glamour model? Saskia and Mary spring to mind. Sakia was hated from the beginning when technically it was Mary causing all of the ruckus. I'm not saying that was entirely dependent on either of their looks but there was definitely a double standard when it came to their arguing.

Also, to take something from the same series, I wonder if Anthony would've got that far if he weren't good looking? The fact Eugene was in the final 2 suggests yes but it raises an interesting point.

It's so true that the fitter better looking HM's are accepted instantly whilst the fat or thin or unattractive ones can be picked on like the fat kid in school.

It takes time for anyones personality to come through which is why I detest decisions forced on HM to choose people based on........what nothing just their looks and we end up losing a really interesting HM because they were unfairly judged as people based solely on their physical appearance

With the public I think that they get a fan base a lot easier than Housemates like Jale who has had to work for it a bit.

But also tbf it can give them a hate base that they probably never would've had if it wasn't for the fact that they was good looking and that gender can't accept that so they try and vote them out in which some cases it has succeeded.

Mainly though it helps in really close votes when the person might've normally left.

I don't think there's a pattern with how fit HM's are with BB's depending if they do well or not. If a female is bitchy she's usually going to go early and that's the way it goes. And a lot of good looking men seem to finish somewhere in the middle.
