Chuck
12-06-2014, 10:10 PM
Pretty average Brazil side > everybody else

Drew.
12-06-2014, 10:15 PM
Chiles asking Dixon for his opinions on Rooney and all of our known players and Cannavaro about Sterling, Welbeck and Lambert tonight.. 3 players he hardly knows anything about.. ITV are terrible.

Absolute disgrace referee, Croatia robbed. Very lucky win for Brazil who were shown up for how poor they are

King Gizzard
12-06-2014, 10:22 PM
how nice is ITV's score thingy in the top left corner

Shame about there theme tune being a bit lame and not a patch on When You Come Back

Drew.
12-06-2014, 10:24 PM
Yeah the intro and theme tunes are really forgettable compared to 2010

Vicky.
12-06-2014, 10:25 PM
Why are brazil 'cheating bastards'? :suspect:

I have been informed of this by about 10 people on my fb feed

Shaun
12-06-2014, 10:26 PM
they got given a penalty for nothing, and Croatia had a goal disallowed (although that may be fair enough tbh) :p

Ryan57
12-06-2014, 10:27 PM
Not a penalty when Fred Elliott went down in the box.

King Gizzard
12-06-2014, 10:34 PM
****ing hell what is up with the sound on this opening ceremony? It is awful, they haven't got any TV microphones, and everything is out of sync

King Gizzard

Bit gutted for Croatia tbh, the pub were going mad for them all night for some reason, when we thought they equalised

Hopefully they come 2nd... (I don't know how strong Cameroon are, and Mexico could flop right?)

In the Drunk Tank
12-06-2014, 11:29 PM
Cameroon are in the middle of a pay dispute and loads of problems in their team so don't think they'll put up too much of a fight

Calderyon
13-06-2014, 10:48 AM
Predicting a tie tonight. 1-1 to be exact. Even though this is both teams first match of the tournament, itīs kind of a must win situation, since i donīt think they can match/win against Brazil and they need at least a tie against Croatia.

Yeah Jemal, he hasn't played for a few years i dont think, cant remember why though

Locke.
13-06-2014, 04:25 PM
Judging from the opening 24 minutes both of these are going to be destroyed by Brazil and Croatia

13-06-2014, 04:31 PM
Another offside goal for Mexico. Unlucky.

Both of these teams seems to not have much of defensive play. Pretty open, which creates opportunities, which is good tv, but not good for them in the long run.

Christmas Dynasnow
13-06-2014, 04:32 PM
a simple go to the 4th official as in Rugby and already the World cup would be a different tournament. Its run by fecking clowns

These poor Mexicans

Shaun

still think Croatia'll go through though... have no preference mind

Drew.
17-06-2014, 05:47 PM
Brazil: Julio Cesar, Dani Alves, Thiago Silva (c), David Luiz, Marcelo, Paulinho, Fred, Neymar, Oscar, Ramires, Luiz Gustavo

Mexico: Ochoa, Rodriguez, Marquez (c), Herrera, Layun, Dos Santos, Moreno, Guardado, Peralta, Aguilar, Vazquez

Should be a good one. Mexico usually give them a decent game.

BBfanUSA
17-06-2014, 06:44 PM
Mexico hasn't been that good recently,

I think they had to get in via the OFC/CONCACAF playoff spot, and they had to rely on the US to save their butts to even get the playoff spot.

Christmas Dynasnow

Brazil pretty much controlled the whole first half, with Mexico getting a few good chances on the goal. Mexico has and impressive goalie, i must say.

Locke.
17-06-2014, 08:17 PM
I fully expect him to score after posting this, but Fred is terrible.

Mexico have been the better side here, just like Croatia were.

That was a good 0-0 game, Brazil was good, but so was Mexico. Which i think benefits both teams, since it kind of forces Croatia to win both of their games. They will have trouble getting past Ochoa.
