Have you ever seen us at previous tournaments? This is possibly one of the best passing sides are have had in years.. The tempo of our play compared to previous years has improved massively.. No one can hit a target? 5 shots on target, 2 of which produced great saves from Sirigu.


yeah passing is great for once. i mean we cant score. watch all other teams when they get near to goal you know a goal is coming. and even if they miss they do again and score.
england were shooting over and to the left to the right even on corners are miles away. we cant score proper goals its usually always easy ones.
they took chances tonight which is great to see normally they dont but they still cant score, why cause they just panic must be a english thing

Good and exciting game ending in a Italy win. England had many chances, but the shots were well of the target, unlike Italy who had better finishing although fewer shots.

The talent is there for him to start games but i agree, the occasion is too big to be relying on him to start these games. Would be using him as an impact sub in most games though.

He was trash as usual. Like Wayne some fans think he is a good passer because he hits this Hollywood cross field passes yet is unable to make any sort of meaningful passes that open up a defence whilst also failing to hit his man from 5 yars with any consistency

To make it worse he is playing as a deep lying midfielder. Yet I saw Verrati Pirlo Marchiso etc picking up the ball MANY times between the defence and midfield and turning at will whilst Stevie was nowhere to be seen. Hendersois tripe yet at least he actually attempted to close in on the likes of Pirlo at times whilst Stevie strolls aimlessly around the pitch
