How stupid removing a Housemate from what they did a year ago, Well done to C5 for not doing it, it's about time they stepped up to the complaints and declined them

I'm gay, but she's not a homophobe, a homophobe is a intense hatred or fear of homosexuals or homosexuality
Like she said in one off the highlight shows, she only disagrees with Gay marriage

I doubt a homophobe would've shared a tent with Christopher last night either.

You dont need to be terrified of gay people, its not like arachnophobia
I know what one is and if you are calling for gay people to be shot for being gay

I'm laughing at people thinking she was going to Shot a gay person
She was being sarcastic like "urge just seen someone buying them ugly jeans, I want to shot him #angry"

Good, it would have been a ridiculous decision. Don't need BB to turn into a boring show of Inoffensive people.

I agree about the gay marriage thing (holding that opinion alone doesn't make someone a homophobe), but the tweets are dodgy. I mean, "step out the closet you freak", for example.

She didn't say that. She said something along the lines of "Men who use words like lush should be shot". Of course, that's no less mean spirited. I've been defending her in the house but these tweets have definitely put me off her a little.
Maybe she's lying in the house and does hate gay people, but for now I'll put the tweets down to awful wording until we get more clarification.
It's so annoying it's a reality show with different personality's some people are going to dislike different things, imo there should be no warnings for things like "die in a hole you hoe" not like that has happened, but people should learn before they complain to Ofcom that it's a reality show

I find those tweets very offensive, to be honest. Calling gay men ***** is wrong.

And Helen should be removed for prostitution? Is that not an actual crime?

Her parents brought her up a strict catholic in Glasgow, she would have been brought up with a very negative disposition towards homosexuality. God only knows what she has said with her friends but I can guess.

Why on earth would she be removed for that...
If she used that language in the house then fair enough...but on twitter a year before going in :umm2: Poor little delicate complainers

Well, I think a lot of it is aimed as feminine men rather than specifically gay men. But then, with the "step out the closet" thing, clearly Danielle gets the impression that these type of men are secretly gay, so I suppose if that's the case she must feel like she's aiming the word at gay men.
It's really confusing. I like Danielle in the house so these tweets frustrate me even more than they would do ordinarily.
I mean, she could have intended no offence towards gay people in general, just aiming it at the effeminate men, but they're still not great tweets either way.

Totally agree-people -are- different from each other; it's why I rage so much about the intolerance at the women in the house versus the excuses used to justify when the men do/say/think. I think the lesson here though is that, yes, this is Your (meant in general terms) planet, but it's also everyone else's and if you expect your place in it to be respected then you should respect everyone else's place too.

well said, we should see the housemates, warts and all, if they are constantly told they cant say things which they would normally say on the outside, then we dont get to see the real them
the only thing they should be hauled up for, or kicked out for, is threatening violence or actually being violent

whats the contex of the tweets anyway.
to me it just sounds like shes saying she doesn't like guys acting like girls which is fair enough. a lot of people dont even like the overally camp people. mark anyone? lol
who was the tweet directed to, and was she joking or doing to annoy someone like dexter. the problem with twitter and the inernet is how you say something and how it looks when written can be so different without the tone of voice and body langage and manarisims behind it.
