To those who say they're enjoying the series so far..

..but are wanting Pauline out, why are you enjoying it? the Pauline drama is central to the show, literally nothing else is going on right now and the housemates outside of the drama are pretty much non-entities. there appears to be a witch hunt on here against Pauline yet the series simultaneously seems to be going down well, which is really confusing. anyone would've thought it'd be very much the opposite

the only explanation I can think of is that, subconsciously, the Pauline bashers do indeed value her presence in the house and the drama she brings, but are reluctant to accept this for whatever reason.

so taking all that into account, are Pauline bashers simply just lying to themselves? Discuss.

And FYI I don't find Pauline "entertaining" before you all say I do, I just think that people should have their time in the show cut short if they aren't contributing, and those that are contributing should stay to the end.

There's a difference between contributon and entertainment. I don't feel entertained when I see Helen or Pauline, but the drama that ensues over it is definitely making a great show, so I don't understand why you'd want to get rid of contributors.

..I agree that most of the housemates have 'calmed down' Hayden but I think that's because Pauline is stifling personalities in there and so long as she is still in there, we'll have a lot less interesting house..all we'll have is psychological control of other people and that's not 'entertainment'...

Without Pauline, the only feud that'd happen is Danielle/Helen, and that probably wouldn't last long when Danielle ends up getting evicted sooner or later. Then the housemates would be all nice to each other, making this series a total bore.

When I say entertaining I mean it's compelling. If it becomes proper bullying, in terms of Conor level then yeah I'll turn against her because that in no way can be justified but I honestly don't even see it as that bad? She gave the same kinda treatment to Christopher, not just Jale, and they were both discussing Pauline's behaviour tonight. I'm not trying to dispute the fact that Jale's having a hard time in there but i just don't get the feeling that she's being truly octracized and alone.

..hmm, I think that 'bully' is so often mentioned during BB and to me it's more just personality clashes and bitching mostly, although we have had it before but I honestly do think that in Pauline's case it is psychological bullying..if it was physical bullying...?..and someone did what she did/acted how she did, it would be similar to someone hitting a person and then blaming that person for being hit ..a bully quite often blames their victim in much the same way as Pauline did..but then she didn't get the reaction of subduing Jale that she expected so she just continued then to try to do it in another way of isolating her and turning people against her..

She is really grating on me with her overbearing manner, but she should stay in for exactly that reason.
