Will this laptop be able to play games??

Hi, I am currently deciding on which laptop I want to buy and ideally I want one that I can do my college work on and play games on it (more specifically, the sims 3).
Does anyone know if this laptop is any good for games??

It has 8gb of ram which seems good but only a dual core processor

I don't think the processor will be good enough. Believe at least an i3 processor is needed to run The Sims well.
