So can we all send him and channel 5 an email regarding them putting the show on at 10pm directly against the world cup?

How can they expect BB to deal with it, its getting depressing now seeing this series getting 700/800/900k it shouldn't be happening.

When emailing last year they gave in to us and for a time gave us live feed in the evenings then we got the online live feed.

Hopefully they will listen this time around and schedule the show at 9pm if we complain about how its affecting ratings nmaybe they will pull their fingers out and listen again.

Its a simple swap of scheduling the programme which it should have been from the start.

I'm sure they would know way before anybody on here does if ratings were affected

Erm no.

Obviously putting BB on directly against the world cup will affect the ratings and it has done big time. Channel 5 have a history of scheduling things badly.

If they put it on at 9PM it will still clash I don't see your point

It's not worth the worry

People on DS are emailing left right and center, they just get told their ideas are being put into consideration but nothing can happen until Viacom take over Channel 5.

Putting it on at 9pm clashes with the 8pm match aka England on Thursday. It's a deatwish. Putting it at 10pm means it only clashes with pre match show for the 11pm match. They are doing the right thing...not sure why people think moving it to 9pm is better. Producers would be idiots if they listened to those emails really

Maybe they're satisfied to get those ratings up against the world cup? Anything other than BB would have done considerably worse so putting one of their biggest shows up against it is a good move

They could actually schedule it a lot better by moving it about when bigger matches are on it doesn't take a rocket scientist.

It wouldnt clash every night.

If I had BB fans whining at me 24/7 I'd make sure it was axed

Well it only clashed with the pre show last night. They can't od much more than that. Either way most people would be preparing for the football anyway no matter what time they put BB on.

Fact is unless the big match is on at 5pm the ratings will struggle on a big match day.

Well last year it got installed because of the fans so speaking up actually works.

Anyway this is boring now cant be arsed for debating over and over im off to watch The Vow and cry.

Carry on.

The vast majority of people who are into football enough to want to watch the likes of Honduras play Chile at 11pm are not BBs target demographic anyway. Most football fans hate BB and vice versa.

There is also catchup TV which will count towards their ratings as well. The days of having to watch a programme when it is aired at one specific time are long gone.
