I actually cannot take the Pauline Lovein/Jale hate wagon anymore.

Are we missing something?

I see absolutely no reason for the Jale hatred. She's been nothing but nice and genuine and real.

Why are people complaining that whoever nominated Paulinr are disgusting and have crossed a line! I mean SERIOUSLY. What is this spell she's cast on everyone!

Will it though, if she does go the whole house dynamic will change, there will be a power void. Who is going to fight for that role?

Like I said in another thread. We only see the awful side of Pauline, but there has to be a reason why majority of the house loves her. There has to be a good side too that isn't being shown.

The more insightful HMs can see right through Pauline and her negative BS.

She is quite a skilled manipulator.

If you have known a manipulator like her in real life then you can spot those traits very quickly in people.

Linda Nolan for example had a similar quality to Pauline in how she gathered her group around her, knew when to 'act hurt' and then whispered the poison - but she was nowhere near as self righteous or intense as Pauline.

Anyways I agree with SoBig. We only see Pauline's nasty side, which is really nasty but interesting which is why they show it as opposed to her nice side which would be boring. We've seen nice Pauline (ie comforting Danielle) and she's an angel :angel:

..it is hard to understand why a lot of the housemates seem to be taken in by Pauline..maybe it's because it's all new to them/the being cut off from their support circle and the adjustment and Pauline is the only older person in the house, so maybe she's looked at as a 'mother/comfort' figure..?..maybe it's because she's said from the start...'I'm older/wiser..' type thing..?...but it is always easier for people to see things from the outside looking in and a completely different perspective when you're part of it/emotionally involved..that's why people in general often look at things retrospectively and more detached and see the situation differently...
