Do you think Pauline's aggressive behaviour is excused by some viewers because she's a woman. If she were a man acting this way, do you think she would be perceived differently?

hhhmmm no I don't really, most people dislike her same as when Conor was in there most people disliked him because of his aggressive behaviour, you're always going to get people who excuse that type of thing whether it's from a man or a woman

The fact that she is a woman makes it worse, in my opinion. Pretending to be motherly while draining their souls makes her The Mother From Hell.

This is why we're clearly not seeing the whole picture though. All we see her as in the HL's is a monster yet they all love and adore her in the house. Something is up :suspect:

I think people would be more horrified if Pauline was a man. I think some people are kind of amused by Pauline's behaviour, although not necessarily agreeing with it. I don't understand this myself as I've always has FAR more trouble with females than males. Women can be much more cruel and overbearing than men - generally, and in my experience.

If she was a man she'd be liked more I thin, like when people thought Conor was funny by picking on Deana & survived evictions
...then that hug she had with Christopher would have triggered a showmance.

If Pauline was a younger & good looking guy she definitely wouldn't get as much stick from *some fans, as good looking guys seem to get away with a hell of a lot...
*shallow teenage girls
