View Full Version : Jale Is it time for Jale to say something?

Helen was pretty brutal tonight and doesn't look like it's going to stop any time soon. Even Danielle was asking why. All the house know it's going on but will make a few comments to Helen and that's it. Do you think it's time she took matters into her own hands?
She must have the best willpower ever to hold back from retaliating or even breaking down about it.

shes obviously milking it. her whole dart board comments just proves it even more. does anyone really think that jale would take this from her? i mean really in the outside world. even your most timid of people would have a go back.
she is 100% playing of it.
she needs to show her true self and put helen in her place which is in the gutter.

Pauline has been keeping out of it the last few days from what we've seen. Toya is just in her own little world and doubt people in the house pay much attention to her. She just needs to hit the source who is Helen.

But what is she to do?
Stoop to Helen's level and retaliate with childish insults?
Have an argument?
Will it not make things worse and therefore give those who feel she's bringing it on herself more ammunition? If she argues with her it'll be all "Well Jale screamed at Helen, what does she expect?"

I think she knows she is in a catch 22 position , if she says anything to Helen the whole gang are likely to hate her even more if she doesn't then Helen has to get even nastier to try and break her , Helen can't back down to a neutral place from here surely , she has expressed too much hate , so she will get more and more awful now otherwise she will lose face in front of her gang .I think it's time BB intervened .

Helen in tonights show was appalling. I'd be surprised if there wasn't complaints about it. Jale was literally minding her own business at the other side of the house and she was attacked by the *****. For no reason apart from disliking her.
I seriously hope BB reverse the pass to the final. If they don't, they'll have major problems. This could be another JadeGate all over again.

Jale DOES NEED to stand up for herself. I wouldn't let that bitch of a Helen stalk past me hurtling insults. Even Jales fans and I do like her are getting a small bit annoyed now that she isn't facing up to Helen.
I think Jale has to handle the situation in whatever way she see's fit as she is the one in the firing line. We can all say she should do this or do that but we are not there in the confined claustrophobic atmosphere - she is.
I bet if any of us were in that house we would react differently to what we would expect if put under pressure.

I think she's just a bit cautious because with a dumb twat like Helen she'll never accept that she's in the wrong so standing up to her is just going to make her worse, especially when Jale knows that there's no chance of Helen getting evicted any time soon.
She's just gotta' handle it in the way she feels will make things most bearable for her, which, at the moment could very well just be to ignore her. It's doing Helen far more damage in the eyes of the public and probably, even though most of them wouldn't dare say so, in the eyes of their fellow housemates too.
Sophiee
17-06-2014, 12:42 AM
definitely, I'm just confused as to why she's not (whether it's because she knows the public are on her side now and she's scared of being evicted if she does; I don't know). but I think if she did it would only go in her favour anyway.

Having been bullied myself, i tried many angles to stop it. Arguing only made it worse and kept it ongoing.
In the end i decided just to leave the nasty people to their own devices, stop worrying about it and simply wait for karma to come back and bite them on the backside.
And that's exactly what happened.
All Jale needs to do is wait and let Helen destroy herself.

No, she should let Helen continue to show herself up, easier said that done.
I see other people saying Jale might explode soon but I doubt it, she's lated this long, the more she stays quiet the more Helen looks like a bully, which she is regardless if Jale were to fight back.
Helen is absolutely vile, I can't stand her. Jale needs to stand up and say something loud rude and insulting to her.

She could calmly take her aside and tell her to lay off, just like Kimberly did with Marlon, though I doubt it would end in a hug :DL she doesn't need to have an argument about it, I really don't feel Jale is reacting like she would in a "normal" everyday situation if this sort of stuff was happening. Kudos to her for playing the perfect underdog game.

If she doesn't say something Helen might stop, it would be like beating a dead horse. Now if she does stand up to her, I don't think anyone will interfere.
I think Jale is a little scared that the insults might become more hurtful. Like her targeting her weight or something like that. She might not be able to come back at her with something which would hurt her equally as much.
Jale knows what she's doing, it's called being passive aggressive. It will work to her advantage. Now if it had been me, I would have been kicked out for kicking her in the face.

But it's not a normal everyday situation though so you're bound to react in a different way. Helen is a stranger who is being horrible to Jale for no apparent reason. In normal everyday life you get to walk away and go home, here you're trapped in the same house with that person for weeks

I do, she is not isolated in the house, the only one's being truly horrible to her are Pauline, Helen and Toya. The whole house is not against her, I really can't fathom her popularity on here as she has actually not done anything in the house apart from being the focus of Helen's nastiness so I guess that is why she is popular

I wouldn't want to draw her on me either, it's one thing to be strong willed and able to stand up for yourself in a normal environment but Jale is in such a difficult place atm being trapped in there not only with Helen but with her group of followers who are almost as bad and the ones who feel sorry for Jale are too afraid of the repercussions for themselves if they say anything to Helen and co, just look at what happened to Christopher when he tried to tell Pauline that he thought she was treating Jale badly

Now Mark had no problem screaming at Pauline though. No one interfered and everyone went to check on him, to see if he was ok. I don't think if Helen and Jale start fighting anyone will get involved. It's always been one on one, people just haven't done anything about it.

I voted "no".
While I think I'd like to see her say something, I don't know if I want her too.
Jale has no backup. There really isn't anyone there that has her back. Danielle would run a mile rather than reignite her row with Helen. Ashleigh is neutral, as is Kim. Can't see Chris stepping in and most of the rest are part of the "in" crowd.
However Helen has her groupies, which include Pauline and Toya ready and waiting for a row to kick off.
Jale also has the pressure of the weekly nomination. She has no stability. She has no time to relax.
If Pauline was to go this week, and if something unexpected happened to shake up the current status quo, something that knocked Helens position of power, just slightly. Then Jale would have a chance.
An argument now would leave Jale with no refuge. It would become out right war. With Helen, Pauline, Toya and the “in” crowd on one side and Jale on the other.
After a little shake up of the house, Jale might find a few supporters.
Someone like Mark, might play a part. If Pauline goes, he mightn’t be willing to follow another loud mouth. If he were to switching to Jale’s side, he might pull a few others with him. Which in turn would give Jale the cover she needs to gain confidence.

I don't think Pauline and Toya would join in the fight. They would gossip with Helen afterwards, but wouldn't jump into the fight. I think she should wait after Pauline leaves, just because you might see a lot of people warm up to her. IF she's not using the underdog situation to win. After all remember the woman has been kicked out of every place she's lived in. So there is more to Jale.
Let's see how this week plays out.

I voted no as I don't think the time is right for her to speak up at the moment - maybe once Pauline is gone on Friday and the pack start to come apart a bit then she should take Helen aside and have words with her but I'm not sure she will wait that long.

Yep, was very surprised about that, looks like Kim and Ashleigh want to join the Mean Girls :bored:
Can you imagine what Ashlieghs mother must think seeing her hanging around with that lot ? if she was my 18 yr old I would be climbing the walls to get her out

I know, I can excuse Ashleigh a bit because 18 is very young, she's still an impressionable teenager

I think Jale should keep quiet a little longer. It makes her look like the victim, and although she doesn't want it, the public are more likely to support it than if she puts her foot it it, equally she should put Helen in her place but I don't think anybody but herself can do that, the woman is so stubborn and horrid!

To be fair, none of them are reacting as they would in a normal situation.
They're in Big Brother. It's not a normal situation.

No, not yet Helens back up bitches are too many in number, she needs to bide her time until they start to go
I agree with this, it would actually be difficult for her to get a word in edgeways
to. I think once Paulines gone things could change. Perhaps big brother should give Helen and & Jala a task together out of the way of the other housemates,
then Jala might be able to get a word in. Normally I like to keep housemates like
Pauline&Helen in for entertainment value but they have both overstepped the mark. Hope pauline goes this week, and Helen (given enough rope to hang herself) has her immunity revoked. Dont care if Jala is playing the victim, I still give Jala credit for keeping her cool.

Kim really let me down too. She just walked past Jale & went into the garden as they were calling her names. I liked Kim until that point.
Ash is such a twat. How old is he ?, he just laughs like a child at everything Helen say's. Awful.
It was one of those weird situations and Kimberly looked like she felt completely awkward. I did think she was going to say something when she stopped but she was going outside with them before Helen said that and seemed to carry on. Danielle and Ashleigh were with Jale so could've been different if it was just Jale alone.

You need to stand up for yourself.

No. At the moment it would make things 10 x worse as the bullies are pushing & pushing Jale & want an argument, so I think Jale is to be applauded in the way she has handled herself so far. Big Brother are the ones who need to step in & say something & preferably kick out that vile ***** Helen or at the very least revoke her pass to the final...

She won't get evicted for standing up for herself. It would actually get her more fans.

Exactly, why should she say anything anyway? She tried to talk it out with Pauline and look what happened? Why should she lower herself to mud slinging, shouting and name calling to get people in there to hear her? Because they don't hear her when she tries to be rational about it. They want her to break by either crying or shouting back, she should keep dignified, that's actually what's making them more mad eachday

I don't know how Jale has managed not retaliated as far as Helen concerned, she has been really horrible & nasty to Jale
