Apprently Pete has left Daddy Fantastic???

I have been tryin to access Daddy Fantastic's Myspace for a good few mins now but its not working for me. Can sombodt please try to see its its just me?

Apprently Petes name has been removed from Myspace. The Sun says that Pete has signed a solo record deal and is writeing songs with Guy Chambers - Who wrote Angels for Robbie Willams.

EDIT : Wobbly Bob has confirmed that Pete has left Daddy Fantastic.

I so hope it isn't true. Pete doesn't seem the sort to leave his mates just for money.This wouldn't be the best thing to do at all.Petey stay with DF!!!!!!

Okay, Good to see he is still there.

But i have also read that they are not going on Tour anymore. I think Pete would be more sucessfull by himself then he would be with Daddy Fantastic.

Yep - why am I not suprised

I think alot of it has to do with Wobbly Bob. He has only known WB for a year after he auditioned for DF so i dont think they are that close. WB was against Pete going on BB from the start and was angry when he found out Pete was going but as soon as he saw Pete was Fav to win and that his band was getting some attention he did a turn around.

I'd much rather see Pete go solo.

BIG Brother winner Pete Bennett has dumped his bandmates for a multi-million pound solo career.

Tourette's Syndrome sufferer Pete, 24, ditched Brighton glam-rockers Daddy Fantastic after meeting Robbie Williams's former songwriting partner Guy Chambers.

Pete stunned his bandmates by quitting after deciding to sign with Chambers.

Chambers - who co-wrote classics such as Angels and Millennium with Robbie - met Pete and the rest of the band this week during a "showcase" for music execs.

But instead of signing up the band, the songwriter and Pete decided he should go it alone.

The group were told by their manager that Pete had opted to sign with Chambers.

His ex-bandmates - known as The Baron, Nimbus and Wobbly Bob - have tried to contact him but Pete has refused to answer their calls. The BB winner is poised to sign with Chambers's music label Sleeper Music to release his first solo single.

A source said: "This was totally unexpected and Pete has completely stabbed his bandmates in the back.

"They gave him their full backing in the Big Brother house. Now they're gutted. They never thought he'd do this."

Pete - who is dating BB's Nikki Grahame, 24 - said he planned to go touring with the band after he scooped the show's £100,000 prize.

Bookies gave odds of 3-1 that Daddy Fantastic would have a No1 hit by Christmas.

Daddy Fantastic was Wobbly Bobs band - And They used Petes popularity and made a lot fo decitions on what they were going to do while he was still in the house. I think Pete has ;earnt alot about himself from BB and i think he lernt to defend and stick up for himself. Leaving DF was the right thing to do, I can't imagine WB & Pete are that close friends to be honest - They only met when Pete auditioned for DF and were probley only friends for the sake of the band. Also WB said some nasty things about Nikki when she was in the house (Mybe Lea had somthing to do about that).

I joined the DF fourm and i said i was in support of Pete leaving DF if its what he wanted to do --- I was banned immeditly.

awww well at the end of the day it is Pete's life isn't it?? He may be accused of just "dumping his friends" which I don't believe is really fair. I am sure if any of the other DF people were given the oppertunities that Pete is getting at the moment they would grab it with both hands like what he is doing. I am sure from watching Pete that he would be in full support of his friends doing that as well so hopefully if they are friends they are understanding and supporting him in his decisions.
