Maybe Jale was worried about the reaction from the others if they found out she knew and had kept quiet about it,Lord knows they are bad enough now,so just maybe she is covering her back, just a thought.I am annoyed she told Chris she wouldn't say anything, but can see reasons why she did.

I can see and understand why she did it, but she's still gone down in my estimation.

I have no problem with Jale's reaction.

She has had a tough couple of weeks. Constantly on the defensive. Not trusting someone has to be the norm for her now. She was bound to react badly.

And HM's reporting what was shouted over the barrier is fairly standard for BB. Would people have an issue if Jale told people that someone was giving out about Pauline over the wall?

Jale said she isn't a grass and then she grasses up Chris.

Makes sense?

Nope.

Or did she just turn to her friends looking for advice on how to handle the answer to the question that has been eating the house alive for the past week. The question that has had at least one person hurl abuse at her...

don't be so quick to dismiss her (bet you wouldn't if you weren't a fan of chris..)

how many hours passed? maybe something happened that caused her to change her mind? you're forgetting it's a 24 hour day condensed into 45 minute show

like I said in the other thread, where was chris when jale needed defending last week? he's not the saint people are portraying him as

She's done it to ingratiate herself with the floaters... her attitude to him stinks though, he's always been nice to her and yet she bawled him out about it, bit unfair she of all people should know how it feels to be spoken to like that... he's not mr popular either is he, so who's going to have his back?

I'm a fan of Chris and have no problem with what happened.

He's a big boy, he can look after himself. He knows the game and he knows that it will come out eventually.

I think she was wrong and I am disappointed in her. If she had said to Chris I really have to tell my friends or that she had to tell people in general because she was sick of being a scapegoat I would have admired her honesty

You mean the floaters that she has been part of since day one?

And because she has had Helen and Pauline bully her, she's not allowed to have an adult argument, feel insulted, or let down?

See what we are witnessing is an actual adult disagreement. Its where two grown ups clash. Its completely different than having someone shout slug across a garden to someone that wasn't even talking to them.

wish people would stop with this nurturing motherly attitude towards Chris because of the day 1 ostracism

Is it just me, or is going "off" Jale just because of one small thing, alot like Jale reacting badly to Chris over one small thing?

There is an irony buried in fickleness....:joker:

Jale's probably looking for acceptance from Helen, I think. The news is bound to get round to her.

She sat stating she didn't have to justify herself to people she doesn't know when called a slug, but now "can't lie" to the same people who haven't even asked her anything and must out Chris, landing him in a ****storm....

Jale wasn't compelled to tell anyone anything but chose to do so, bringing into question her motives. Her backbone in challenging Chris is in itself not an issue, but shows a lack of character when compared to her lack of backbone when set upon by Helen. She's not bullying anyone, but her willingness to put others in harm's way to deflect harm from herself is akin to how the bullied often become bullies themselves, which is why her behaviour isn't reprehensible, but pitiful, as this is probably a snapshot of how she has dealt with such situations throughout her life. Hopefully as she comes to realise the drama her actions will cause, she'll ask whether it was worth it.

Just had a thought. Chris put Pauline up because of her treatment of Jale and then Jale stabs him in the back.

Jale didn't even consider that nomination before shouting her mouth off.

..I really don't think that can be said though because nothing about being in the BB house and that pressure cooker environment can be equalled to every day life situations I wouldn't have thought...and I think for us as viewers..?..yes we can see things/situations but we're also not emotionally involved the same as the housemates are and emotions etc do effect our judgements and decisions..Jale had been isolated for days and I would imagine maybe her judgement and a 'wanting to be accepted' may have made her not see anything from Chris' point of view in that moment but it's not something that I would personally judge her harshly for just because I can't imagine how she's been feeling with everything...I don't think any of us truly can so we have a very 'detached' view...

Nurturing? I thought jale would show a bit of empathy seeing as they are both on the periphery of the group is all.

This isn't an argument, she has nothing to feel insulted or let down about either..
He asked her what she was going to do calmly and rationally... she went nuts at him.

so she basically did it for her own good then? the problem I have with it was that she promised she wouldn't say anything and then she did which makes her disloyal, untrustworthy and a liar...

I am not justifying what Jale did, just looking at it from her point of view and other angles,as I WAS surprised she did that.
