Julie just revealed this year's twist on The Talk.
There will be two HOH nominating two houseguests each. This means there will be 4 houseguests on the block each week.
However the HOH themselves will not be safe. There will be a new "Battle of the Block" competition which affects that somehow I forget.
Discuss.

Just because you're the HoH doesn't mean you're safe because there will be a brand new comp called ~BATTLE OF THE BLOCK~ and fans will be influencing the game in an interactive twist called TEAM AMERICA
god please cancel this godforsaken show holy ****ing ****

Just confirmed by Julie on The Talk, this season will involve
- Two HoH's every week
- Four nominees on the block
- Just because you're HoH, doesn't mean you're safe because there's a new comp called 'Battle of the Block'
- America to have more influence on the game in 'Team America'

I was intrigued by everything until 'Team America' :umm2: I had a feeling they'd try and expand on BBCAN's viewer influence...it better not go too far
So I'm guessing since there's two HoH's the competing teams thing is confirmed? I get the feeling vets aren't happening now though

Sounds awful. The cast better be diverse as hell or Imma be pissed at whoever decided this season was a good idea.

Why can't they just go back to the old format? I'm sick and tired of these twists. They are all freaking suck.

MVP only lasted a month didn't it? It should be over before jury so I don't really mind

I guess 3 nominees wasn't enough last year? this will make 3 **** seasons in a row, 4 of the last 5 ****. BBUS is dead.

You could ask why I feel like this or are you surprised I had the courage to criticise your show that you feel everyone should love
People criticise BBUS on here all the time, so no I'm not surprised you had the 'courage' (lul wat) to do so :joker: and I don't need to ask why you feel like that because it's literally impossible for someone to say 'this show has had its day' when they haven't even seen most of its history
Macie Lightfoot
18-06-2014, 06:49 PM
I mean he's right though I'll give him that. The show had its day and it's certainly not the present.

4 NOMINEES? 1/4 of the house? Bull****.

Speculation on Twitter that the twist may amount to this:
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BqbwdUtIEAAL33Y.png:large
Which doesn't sound too bad and makes sense
but I'm still allowed to hold an opinion about BBUSA
No one said you weren't? But to make a judgement about how this show has supposedly 'had its day' would mean you'd have to know about its history...and you don't, so therefore you can't make that particular judgement. Notice how I didn't pull Troy or SoBig up for their criticisms?
Actually the fact you said 'are you surprised someone criticised your show' makes me think you specifically came in here just to criticise it with a comment you know I'd react to :joker:

So that's how she still has her job?
But what's the point in electing two HoH if one of them lose it later and it returns to normal?
Sounds kind of pointless.
Emma > Julie
No shade tbh because I like Julie
Macie Lightfoot

yeah her hubby is the president and CEO so unfortunately this show isn't going anywhere anytime soon. For ****'s sake at least get rid of Grodner
Pete.

What years? What seasons?
Julie's married to the head of CBS from what I understand, it is hopefully going nowhere

The audience sound like paid actors with those gasps and screams :joker:
Also I saw Rachel Reilly in the audience, so I'm guessing she isn't on BB16.

Sounds kind of pointless.
It would probably cause drama and reveal alliances or who's being fake with each other. This could make or break friendships/alliances if done correctly.
I don't think it's too bad of an idea now it's been put like that, hopefully that is how it will go.

The noms ceremonies are going to be complicated though
It has surely got to be one team vs another

Seems all a bit of a mess, if I'm honest. We already had enough competitions as it is, don't really see what adding another does. But of course I will give it a chance.

right when i heard the first bit i didnt like it. then she mentioned most twisted season ever. oy vey. i dont mind a twist or two but i dont want it twist crazy like BBCA. as long as its a good cast and not too hateful or boring then whatever.

I feel like they're trying too hard at this point. The twists aren't what make a season memorable, it's the cast.
