As someone who's not all that in the kitchen, I was thinking we could have a recipe (learn to cook etc) type thread...?
Post recipes and methods in here, and share cooking tips?
Post Pics of results if you want, even if your attempts are disastrous :D
- is trying to become kitchen goddess ;) -

All I can bake is a cake. I somehow burnt potatoes the other month :umm2:
Cooking with Locke & Novo used to be a regular thing on here, they both seem to have retired now though.

Interesting choice of words in a recipe thread, Kate.
But yeah. I like to feel like I can cook, so I usually just make things that come in boxes and only need water.

Pot Noodle
Put the Kettle on.
Peel the lid off the Pot, but do not throw lid away.
Once the water is boiled, pour into the pot just above the noodles (not where it says or you get a soupy mess.)
Place lid back on pot and leave for two minutes.
Remove lid and stir thoroughly
Place lid back on pot again and leave for another two minutes
Remove lid again and stir thoroughly
Add sachet of sauce
Stir a bit more.
Top stuff.
