View Full Version : Would you pay for live feed?
I know we have these threads a lot but I'm curious, say they offered LF online for a fee (like they done in the past I think it was £15 for the entire series) anyway would you pay it?

Have done in the past and would do again

Same, I wasn't lucky enough to win one of the free passes last time so just paid, quite a few on here managed to get one though.
I wish they would give it a chance :(
No, I never used to watch live feed when it was available, it'd be wonderful to have free live feed now I can appreciate it but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it.

No, it should be free. Why should we have to pay when it should be a compulsory thing for all BBs.

Yes, I would.

Of course we should have it free but they won't provide it and even channel 4 charged for it at one point though.
And the point of the thread is they aren't willing to supply it on TV for free so would you pay for it.

Yep. Even those who don't watch it should buy it to help it be funded & make it seem like it's in demand. At the end of the day live feed is important for everyone who watches the show, it's the only way we can know if our perception of things is correct or not and gain a genuine understanding of the house. We miss out over 95% of what goes on.
For those who don't watch it, people will make threads about the day-to-day events of the house, so I still don't see how it's not of any use to you.

I'd just wait til someone posted it for free on another site like TVnutters or Jokers or something, since that would inevitably happen anyway. No way I'm donating to Channel 5 for something we should get given for free.
It's like taking away someone's car and saying "you can have it back if you pay this fee", uhm no, we started off with it free, so let us have it for free.

In what way to Ch 5 owe you anything?

Yeah, I'd willingly pay £15 for the duration of the series.

It's people with this kind of attitude that are the reason we don't have LF anymore.
Just saying.

Yes.
C4 charged BB11's live feed. Although I was one of those lucky ones that got the free pass. I would happily pay if C5 introduced a charge for live feed though.
Another way I think they could get around it is just by having video adverts on live feed or around the feed on the website... that's if money is an issue (I don't think it actually is tbh). All they need to pay is for the stream on the site (wouldn't cost a lot to do) and up to 5 staff that manage it.

I probably would.
Live feed which isn't on TV I don't usually like because I can't be arsed watching through my laptop but if the option was there I'd probably end up dipping in and out a lot.

That's not comparable in the slightest. How is them charging for live feed like taking one of your possessions away? :conf:
You don't own BB or anything to do with it.
Calderyon
21-06-2014, 07:31 PM
I would. 15 pounds is nothing compared to what we pay for it on our BB. Which is about 30 to 40 euros = about 23 to 32 pounds. Which is twice as as much.
The quality (in terms of entertainment) is twice as better on UK BB so definitely.

Well I wouldn't pay anyway, just watch it for free on another site.
Why should you start paying for something which should be free and has already been free to you before

It doesnt take a genius to work out that if they cant balance the figures they just wont do it.
It doesnt have the viewers anymore to cover the cost of putting it on tv and if they cant cover the cost in subscriptions to do it online they wont.

I'd easily pay a good 100 pounds at least for it. It's the most important part of Big Brother

I paid for BB11, not for this one as BB16 USA live feed willl be far more interesting, with better characters & far more drama, so I'll watch that instead
