Looking at these fantastic photographs made the memories really flood back, James.
It's been difficult to pick any particular one out as they are all so good but I really loved the ones of Dean and Bubble trying not to blink as it gave rise to Helen's most famous saying!!

James - you are a diamond!!
I liked this week because it was when the group were trying to trick Brian and Helen into being hypnotised!!
The look on Helens face sums it all up!

Oh, and this was also the wonderful week when Mr Clarke beat this very shocked guy to another eviction:
And it was also another week inwhich the romance was developing more and more....

Yep, and there's a 'Brian how COULD you have nominated her?
And this little bit when everyone is sure he is leaving - Paul say's he is going to tell Davina there might be a big brother wedding:
Helen's reaction:
This one when he thinks she might poke his eye out (just love this, and it shows how well he dealt with eviction night)
And this one because.......well, I'm worth it!
Wakey wakey Mr Clarke!!

ROB you've picked all my favourite photos. I always remember when Helen was cutting Paul's hair he blew her a kiss and said he couldnt keep still cos he couldnt stop looking at her. Many a true word spoken in jest:hugesmile::hugesmile:
Even then there was so much being said, but not being said if you know what I mean. Remember the talk about growing on one another - it was so obvious what they meant.
James you have done us proud - so many wonderful memories. I feel a song coming on, but then maybe not:nono::nono:
Bless you, James - fantastic pictures.
Yes, Week 5 was certainly THE shock eviction for most of the housemates! Their faces, especially Elizabeth, were priceless.
I was delighted - and so was Helen!!

Just think, if Paul had gone Big Brother 2 would have been a whole other ball game., and I myself wouldnt have liked it half as much! It was their relationship that got me completely hooked!! It was fate that Paul stayed in to keep himself and Helen together.
I was sooooooo glad he stayed in!!:colour::love::colour::love:

people say that helen and paul needed to stay in for a long time otherwise they wouldnt get together.
i think thats wrong cos after bb, you would get to each other still, it would just have taken longer

I completely agree Wildchild, and just think what it would have been like if Helen had gone out in the first round of evictions instead of Penny. As much as I liked Penny, it just wouldn't have been the same and I doubt whether I would have got anywhere near as hooked as I did.

I agree with all your comments, but just imagine what might have happened if Brian had voted differently in the last round.
Great memories.:love::love:

I hated it that they put the two of them in that position at the time. Heartbreaking.:bawling:
The press, thanks to bloody Elizabeth, completely villified him in week 8, and I felt very angry with Josh then too for his comments (sorry Paul WJ, but I was cross, in front of Paul's mum too!). I knew because of this he would go out with a huge margin, which was very unrepresentative to his previous popularity.
I will never forget the triumph in Elizabeth's face when he went.
However, I think all in all it was for the best. Despite Paul's denials, things were progressing VERY quickly on the crumbling self control front on the last night.
I think the embarassment of progressing any further might have destroyed them. So all in all, it was a good thing, but at the time heartbreaking and cruel.

I was so sad when helen & paul were up for eviction together:bawling::bawling::bawling:I didn't vote that week because I couldn't decide between them.I thought at the time it might be best for helen to go to sort things out with big g and then wait for paul, but I think the fact that paul went gave him a chance to understand that people on the outside supported the relationship and made him feel less guilty.so now I'm glad I didn't vote and left it down to fate as it all worked out so well in the end :love::love::love: things were starting to get out of hand on national tv for them:love::love::love::love::love:
