View Full Version : So annoyed by the lads reaction to being nominated

The lads reaction to being nominated has really really pissed me off
- they signed up for a game that's been on air 15 years. A game they know the rules to.
- they themselves has nominated two people for eviction in the diary room
So why do they think they have a god given right to not face eviction?!
I'm offended that they believe they're above it but people like Danielle, Cris and Christopher haven't reacted half as bad.
In act in week 1 Winston an Ash LAUGHED in Danielle and Jales face when they faced the public vote.
they are being immeasurable hypocrites
The fact they're attacking Toya for following the rules, even though they would do the same thing if they were in that position is even more of an insult
This year is particularly bad for it
You do not go into this show thinking your above nomination
It's insulting to the other housemates and to the viewers
Worst thing is Winston will likely win because someone somewhere thinks he's pretty

Steven was the same.
They forget it's the whole point of the show.
It looks like everybody has lost their minds in there.

They looked more annoyed at Toyas attitude towards them than anything else IMO....

They were shocked that they were nominated as soon as their names were called. Good to see their superiority complex is being hit.

Yeah I don't disagree they were shocked/annoyed about it but most people are acting as if that's the reason for the big argument when it was caused by Toya shouting at the rest of the hm's

Ash and Winston were getting too cocky afterwards, saying "when we stay" and "if one of my mates go" etc
It's not all Toya's fault you know.

Pretty sure I have never said it was, why so defensive?

Actually I'm pretty the row started because they were not happy she picked them, they mouthed off and then she got irate and shouted...

Ash was raging last week too. Very bad loser that one :D

Not on the vids we saw it never. we saw someone asking for an explanation then Toya telling everyone to 'calm the f down' then it exploded.
The description of the highlights says pretty much the same thing
* Ash doesn’t understand the mechanics of the power veto and asks Toya to explain, trying to be heard above other questions from the Housemates. Toya says: ‘Can you all just calm the ****** down.’ Ash doesn’t like being spoken to like this and neither do Winston and Marlon. The house erupts into a full scale argument which ends with Helen having to take Toya to the bathroom to calm the situation down.
They could have missed some conversations out though.

That excerpt sounds so biased and one sided, makes Winston and Ash sound like saints. Doesn't even mention they got aggressive as well.

He was hardly raging. He wasn't happy about it but he didn't react the same way that Steven did. In fact everyone that was nominated last week took it well except for Steven. Ash just said he was "gutted" and "I don't wanna leave" but that's it.

This is a myth. They showed no real signs of anger until Toya got agressive. Winston even made a joke about being up before Toya blew her lid. It's not that unreasonable to have simpl asked what exactly Toya and Matthew had to do and why they made the choice they did. The whole house was criticising the secret HM to a far greater extent.

It's pathetic yes but why would you be annoyed by it, I'm glad they're pissed off? It makes for more amusing TV if they make fools of themselves
I'd rather them get annoyed over being nominated than going 'meh' and fading back into the background like they usually do

I can swear winston made a joke about it before she started talking down to him and being aggressive but hey thats ok, cause shes a woman init?
But when its a man talking aggresive to a woman, its world war 3.
Gender equality is priceless.

I think both men and women are bad but it irritates me when people use the phrase "Women are to be treated with respect" or "You should never speak to a woman that way"
It almost seems as if the person making those statements are putting women on a pedestal as if they are god like beings that can do no wrong. Maybe I'm just sensitive. I love and respect women like my wife who are civilized and actually treat everyone with respect no matter the gender. But if a woman gets in my face and shouts at me I will warn her to watch what she's doing. If she does it again she's gonna feel the heat.

This I do think I tend to relate to them a bit more since they are more similar to how I am to a degree.
