I think if ANY male was to act like that - standing over other HMs, waving and chopping their hands and arms about and shouting at others as aggressively as Toya does then they would definitely be more 'hated' than she is.

Plus BB would come down harder on a male HM acting that way i am quite sure.

The fact that Toya is female and good looking probably helps her get away with acting that way much more than any male could, however good looking he was.

There was nothing aggressive about Toya's rant and after watching her behaviour these past 2-3 weeks it's safe to say there is nothing aggressive about her as a person. So if she was male, yes the same thing would be said. Take Shahbaz's behaviour for example in that BB7 video I posted yesterday, where he ran up to Grace and physically shook her. No one accused him of being aggressive, and that's because we know he isn't an aggressive person. Pretty sure he's a guy.

There's only two male HMs I can think of who've been labelled abusive; Conor and Daley. With Conor the backlash was absolutely warranted, there's just NO area for argument here so I'm not going to go into it. With Daley, whilst personally I believe it was blown way out of proportion, he clasped her hands around Hazel's neck and smacked her. It's pretty understandable then why it caused the reaction it did.

So two. JUST two. Now let's think of all the women who've been labelled abusive/aggressive called out for 'bullying'. Lesley, Carole, Alexandra (who was thrown out for it), Bea and Lisa. I'm sure I've left out more. Two of these allegedly victimised a male housemate and that was definitely ridiculous. With this series Pauline and Helen have been labeled major bullies, and to a lesser extent so has Toya and even JALE.

So women definitely do not get off the hook easily and there is in no way a double standards going on with people being quick to label men. If anything it's women who get it worse.

PS @ Vicky, maybe BB just called Marlon to the diary room because he was walking about angry whilst Toya was sat up in the pod?
