Our last civilian series featured 15 female housemates and only 7 male housemates making a total of 23 housemates. On the first night there were 19 housemates, 15 female and only 4 males.

Four of them were older females (40+) and 11 of them were younger females (19-31).

It didn´t go well.

Good point :). I've been saying for years they may as well not bother having women on the show at all, or, if they do, just put a few in to serve the men meals, wash up, clean etc because they almost never stand much of chance of winning and they always get most of the blame for things-e.g Tamara hated because of the "showmance" with winston; a week later, guess who's favourite to win the show? you guessed it-Winston.

Plus all the double standards mentioned in an other thread; a quiet woman is "dull" but a quiet man is "just shy" or "thoughtful", a woman is "loud" "obnoxious" but a man is "Lively" "energetic" etc.

I don't understand why women put themselves through all the humiliation of being booed on the way in, booed on the way out and hated/blamed for everything while she's in the house.
