View Full Version : Why Toya is not leaving on Friday

Despite my dislike of Toya, I have to acknowledge my respect, for her Machiavellian strategy. She understands how the house dynamic is being perceived by the public, she has heard the boos for those in team conceited and the cheers for those in team bland.

This turn around in her approach to others in the house is no acknowledgement of how unfair she and the others have been to team bland, rather it's her realisation that ultimately, she and her "friends" are losing the public's support. This is why her veto was such a blinder, it throws everything up in the air and presents her in such a positive light.

She can now play "St Joan of Arc", defender of the weak and champion of the powerless. She can use her gobby mouth to best effect by denouncing and attacking her previous "friends". In my view, she is still the arrogant person she always was, it's just that now, she can pretend that she is a woman of principle and fairness.

Even though I still don't like her, I no longer want her to go on Friday. If she can keep this act going, she will ensure she stays in the house a little longer.

I agree with pretty much all of your post apart from not wanting her to go, I don't think I can listen to her if she starts all that shouting and repeating herself again but I'm sure she's not gone this week.

You have to put £6 on to win £7 back. Toya is 1/6 on to go on friday.
As Emma says... your fate is sealed.

I still want her to go, just not before Ash and Marlon, the misogynist morons that they are

..she wasn't very good at pretending she had principles last night though when she ridiculed Marlon about his life...I think for me that was a step too far from 'entertainment'...and she kind of undid how great she was to take on the gang the night before..

If she were to stay, which I doubt, since everyone I know who are voting are voting heavily to get her out as they were Pauline last week.

However,if she were to stay and so did Marlon, I would like to see how honest she is in that she said,''if Marlon stayed on friday she would leave anyway''.

I have a feeling, as on many other things as to her, her word as to that would be meaningless somehow.

I agree, she may have "woken up and smelled the coffee" but her inner arrogance will still out. She is still as nasty as before, it's just that she has very adroitly outplayed Ash & co.

Last year a bunch of people put their money on Hazel leaving and Callum left.

..I don't think she has a Machiavellian strategy though or any orther kind of strategy tbh...she's just someone who says that it's best to act with your head and not your heart and who always seems to act with her heart...I don't think her head has really come into it enough to form a strategy...

I agree. She's too impulsive and dramatic to have a strategy. Her actions are all 'reactions' rather than cool thought - out plans.
The complete opposite of Chris. :)

You honestly believe she will walk if Marlon doesn't go?

No way will she walk! That's just another impulsive comment like she is always making.

I think most people would have expected her to veto the nominations of Jale, Chris and one of the others in team bland. It would have been so much in character for her to do so, further cementing her place in team conceited. However, she chose "logic" and went with a decision which would please the public, even though it would alienate her from her "friends".

This, I am saying, is her using her head, not her heart. She has shown that she can do a complete volte face, not because it's the right thing, but because it's the best thing for her. I firmly believe she has played such a blinder, that she will not be voted out this Friday. Ash or Marlon will.

As much as i like to keep the controversial characters in....like Pauline she is dominating the house....although the other housemates challenge her more because of her age... None of the suckers challenged Pauline. I think maybe Toya should stay for the very reason she is challenged on her controlling intimidating behaviour over marlon or ash. Marlon offers nothing whereas ash is a complete prat who should be allowed to stay if only to dig himself a bigger grave....

well i won £150 when heather trott got evicted on CBB :joker:
the bookies arent always right, but that was vote to save.
vote to evict is always far more predictable so im sure Toya will still be going, but her odds arent that clear cut if you compare them to pauline last week ! D:

...hmm, I guess we can't know what goes on in her head or what her thoughts were but I just don't think it was that 'calculated', although I did love the result though of exposing character traits in them and especially Ash that I hadn't seen before....it's funny because I've heard the word misogynist mentioned quite a lot in terms of the guys but I actually think if any of them have a 'thing' about the opposite sex, it's Toya ..she seems to me to have something to 'prove' in someway, that she's somehow better than the males and I think nominating them was no more than a 'put them in their place' type thing but not because of any scheming, just because she feels superior or has to prove she is superior..?...
