Yeah, he's probably been told a lot by people that he's funny and so, now that he's on TV, he's trying too hard to live up to that. It's NEVER funny when people try too hard, always obvious and unnatural.

I have never from the moment he walked in the house understood the hate he's received on here :shrug: seems like a really down to earth, nice guy and he's actually hilarious at times. He seems like a potential winner and if he carries on the way he is I would be more than happy to settle for him winning

..yeah I agree, I think he was quite contrived and forced when he first came into the house and a ..oh aren't I a funny Scouse type thing ...but he seems to be growing in confidence and less trying to please people and with that his true personality is showing that he is actually quite funny naturally....I'm starting to like him a lot...

But I find him hilarious and tonight was a turning point for him. He's easily one of the better guys (but that's not difficult in a house with Marlon/Ash/Winston/Steven in it)
