How did he get a role on Eastenders?

probably through BB, he only was an extra so I suspect endemol/esltree got him the job as there filmed in the same place.

It was a defining thing for his character that he was good looking, in his first episode Sharon tried to convince Johnny to flirt with Curtis and that he was good looking, so that's probably why lol

same reason he got on big brother. he has media connections. nearly all the housemates do. we are not watching checkout girls, bricklayers and call centre employees. we are watching journalists actors and friends of Rylan.

I've done it. I'm just an ordinary guy but always when I've been on set I see the dolled up girls, the made up BOYS (WTF), all hoping they'd get talent spotted.

It's laughable.

Well now he's on T.V everyday and can speak all he wants...unfortunately for him he is one of the dimmest HM ever to appear on BB.

I think his IQ is a negative number, I've seen things lying at the bottom of ponds with more intelligence.

He was only an extra hardly Oscar winning acting skills needed especially when you look at Sharron lol shes like some damsel in distress from a 1950,s romantic epic drama.

The other regular extras are far worse actors, like shockingly bad. Ive tried to get on there but its so in demand.

Oh and obviously Tracey the barmaid is left out of the worst extras comment seeing as she is awesome. Didn't they give her a little story once? She had a few lines and showed her going home and everything. I was gripped lol.

Being an extra doesn't make someone a media ***** or have "contacts" ive been an extra in proper high profile stuff and I don't class myself particularly in touch with the big wigs in media.

I have no idea why he got the role actually.
Usually when you only get to say lines like "course sharon" and "bye" and "yea" you need to have amazing acting skills along with juliard acting degree, so yes i have no idea why he was giving a role as an extra.

You don't even really need to know how to act to work on East Enders as a main character let alone as an extra.
