My Redesign of Channel 5

So I don't know if this has been done on this forum before but i've made a mock of a redesign of the Channel 5 logo. I thought that since it will be sold to viacom, they should use a new logo to symbolise a new start for C5. So, I tried to make a logo to see what I think it should look like. Here are the results:

I based it on the 2 previous logos, which took away the tackiness of the channel logo, until that dreadful valentines day in 2011.

I like the current C5 branding! Maybe a little colour perhaps? :shrug: I'm not sure.

It's similar to the old logo but that's no bad thing. Much prefer the worded logo to the current one, it's so tacky.

The word in the circle was awful.

But when they had the word on its own about 10 years ago that was the best.

I never noticed it on screen, it's a bit faint, but I suppose it can't be too bold.
