I decided to take a break from BBUK (except the current series), and focus on the international versions! With BBUS beginning tonight, I thought I would jump even further afield to watch some BBAU.

I absolutely love the concept of secrets, as it really got the housemates thinking. Big Brother 14 should've used this as I think it would've been really effective.

I dragged myself across the line to watch the full season here, as much as anything because the show was cancelled for a few years, and i had heavy withdrawals. I'd highly recommend anyone to NOT watch this Season (BB9), BB10 (last year) was vastly superior, imho..a LOT better casting!

I loved BBAU 10. I thought the cast was brilliant. Even Ed the bore was worthwhile for making Jade go crazy.

When does BB11 start?

yea 9 was not that great but i really liked 10. my favorite BB of the year of the ones i watch.

still no date set for the new season.

The Canadian one is worse than the US and the Australian one is probably just behind the US now. Though the American one this year looks weak.

Agree with DrunkerThanMoses on Estelle (obviously) and Angie, but Layla???? BBAU9 has been bettered but it had a few decent casting choices that made it enjoyable.

Just about every Big Brother which is about 'big brother' and the psychological experiment aspect uses the concept of secrets, whether they trumpet it in some big promotional marketing campaign or not.
