After these past days it's officially took over BB13 as my favourite series, there's so much drama and entertainment. The divide makes insiders/outsiders look weak af :clap1:

I'm disagreeing for another few weeks. BB13 was consistent until week 6 for me
IMO they are both on par with each other, it's been Brilliant so far :clap1:

I think the problem is no Deana to get behind and support

Yeah I don't really have a fave but literally all of the housemates (apart from Marlon) are providing to the series. BB13 had a few gems (Deana, Caroline, Lydia etc)

This series is in major need of a driving protagonist. There's no Deana or Gina to through your support behind so it's hard to be passionate in rooting for people. There are plenty of people to root against but no real protagonists.
Also the divide isn't much of a divide? The dynamics aren't clear-cut at all, there's just a group of vile cool kids and a bunch of others who don't like them but aren't unified.

It's comfortably ahead of BB14 (but then most series are) and BB12 (but then all series are)... not sure if it's better than 13 yet, though.
Agree with Troy although I think Mark's really taking the mantle... I think post-Deana and post-Dexter housemates auditioning are trying really hard to get the victim vote so it's become a suspect tactic now. I think there needs to be a protagonist that isn't, I dunno, crying about being bullied in week one (like Jale/Danielle, who've picked up a lot of suspicious members on here).

You could say Jale to an extent but I guess she isn't your standard as she's made a few silly mistakes too. I can already see her being underdog though
I also agree with the next point, they don't seem to like each other they just have a mutual hatred of the cool kids :joker:

Jale's good but she's not entirely compelling. Like, Deana's such an awkward weirdo and her interactions with anyone were hilarious so it was so easy to get attached to her. Jale's a normal person doing normal things who just happens to be stuck in a house with ****ing lunatics. It's like a default protagonist at best; she's rootable in opposition to her oppressors but she's not driving the plot really.

Hmm again true.. I just remembered moments like "GOOD HAS OVERCOME EVIL" and I realise she was so ridiculous it was impossible not to love her
She really should have won :(

if only she hadn't kept hammering the 'soldiers' line in the penultimate week :( she should've won (or at least Adam should've beat the BMI boy)

um you were literally criticising me last night for finding the divide entertaining and wanting housemates who contribute to the divide safe from eviction
but yeah it's been great so far. only until we're in the last 3/4 weeks can it be compared to any other series though.
