You need to tell your mobile phone company - they might be able to block it. Also tell the police.

I'll post this code once i find the piece of paper, it has a code that you can type into your mobile and your serial number comes up, you then phone your company and it stops anyone else using it. I know it's not going to get your phone back but it's a good code if anyone ever get's there phone robbed.

It won't. I meant for people who have there phone can do it to get there serial number so if they do loose it or it gets robbed then they can just give the serial number in to there company.

Many mobile phones have something called an IMEI number which can be found on the label on the back of your battery, or by entering *#06#. Make a note of this number somewhere as it's needed when you report your phone stolen and want to get it blocked - see Immobolise Phone Crime link below.

If your phone is stolen you need to inform the police and you need to let your mobile phone company know. If you don't know the number of your mobile company's customer service line then you need to find out now and make a note of it, though don't store it in the memory of your mobile (it should be on your last bill or on the company's website).

Umm, if nits a really bad scratch then tell your phone provider, if its only like a little scratch then thats just wear and tear
